We were apprehensive booking here given the reviews had mold and service as complaints but we noticed those similar remarks with area hotels too. Our experience were positive and we really enjoyed our stay here. Checkin was seamless and the staff inviting and helpful. The room was clean and spacious for our family of four including two small kids. The small kitchenette was useful and the bathroom spacious. Heating during the cold Christmas week was fantastic. We booked because of the swimming pool and it was heated and well maintained with towels and the restrooms were clean. Kids were friendly and my kids had playmates. Breakfast was standard plus (decent variety for a free breakfast) but the service was phenomenal. Crowded but the service helped keep everything full and people finding tables. Parking for my truck was adequate and the location while nothing really walkable was central to major highway entrances which made commuting to sights and family easy. Overall it was a great experience and we’d happily stay again. The one caveat out of their control was our last night was filled with youth hockey players and the hallways got a bit rowdy with kids running around the hotel and pool which made things a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise a great stay.

I stayed here for my birthday this year and right before Christmas. Unfortunately the cleanliness is going down. Service is still great at reception and breakfast etc but I found the Dishrack stained with the bottle opener dirty. It looked scary. I also had to wipe that drawer clean. It wasn’t like that last year. I’m hoping things will improve for the next time I stay
