I stayed at this hotel for over a week with two bedrooms. I highly recommend you check your room before unpacking to make sure you don’t have these problems. Pros: 1. The staff was very kind and helped me literally every single time that I needed help, whether it was night or day. 2. WiFi. The wifi was sometimes slow at downloading apps, but otherwise I had no issues or buffering when watching videos. 3. Sheetz. The convenience store right by the hotel is open 24 hrs. Great for emergency food or medicine. 4. Shower head. For how awful the bathtub was, at least the shower head has good pressure. Cons: 1. Bathtub. The bathtub begins to pile up in less than a minute and the water takes at least 30 minutes to drain. I got my period during my stay and unfortunately my blood was sometimes included in the water that went above my ankles. All rooms should be functional and it’s embarrassing that even one guest would have to deal with this. 2. Faulty curtains. The curtain in the living room was partly detached/broken so it didn’t close completely. The curtain in Bedroom 1 wasn’t broken, but somehow also didn’t shut completely. In order to have full privacy, I had to use my personal hair clips to keep the curtains shut. 3. Cleanliness. The toaster was full of previous bread crumbs. Some walls and ceilings had stains on them. The essential parts of the hotel were fine, but the bathtub had pink bacteria on two sides of the shower, there were wrappers by the couch when we came in, and the televisions/desks were dusty. I doubt that any deep cleaning is done before the rooms are given out, and I did not feel comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet or bathroom floor. Also, the body wash was ripped off of the shower wall and just left there instead of properly fixed. 4. Televisions. A TV in Room 1 lost connection to the remote on the second day I stayed. The TV in bedroom 2 randomly adjusted its own brightness while I was watching shows, which was distracting. It was also usually way too dim with no way to manually adjust it. 5. Laundry room. All machines need quarters but there’s no machine in the hotel to exchange money. The prices are good ($1.50 per wash/dry) but it’s just inconvenient. 6. Humidity. This might be just me, but I’ve visited Streetsboro during the winter before, and this hotel is the only place where my nose bled daily. I suspect it’s the humidity or their AC system, but I can’t guarantee it, so I’m leaving this comment in case it also happens to others. 7. The “Do Not Disturb” sign fell down every single time the door was opened. 8. Beds - nitpick but the quality of the master bedroom bed was somehow much better than the smaller room. I did not contact customer service about any of these issues since I’d rather just deal with it and be left alone, but I wanted to let others know what to look out for before committing to a room.

I had an unplanned stay (no reservation) at the TownePlace Suites this week. I got a standard room and was pleasantly surprised. It was spacious with a king bed (comfy), a kitchenette, and a decent couch. It was also clean. The heater seemed loud but didn't disturb my sleeping. The hotel had a small market in the lobby which was nice. The continental breakfast was also pleasant. If I found myself Streetsboro again, I'd stay here again.

Dated rooms and a very small breakfast area. But, although the breakfast area's small they do a nice job on the food. Front desk Victoria was awesome.
