The best thing about this place is the pool and hot tub is in a room with huge windows that looks out onto a field with deer and the Black Hills in the background. Also, my room had a great view of a small road winding through the hills that could have been a Bob Ross painting. But it went downhill from there. My room, 206, was right above the housekeeping room. In the am I was woken up early by the sound of the washer and dryer, which must have been directly under my bed. I wanted to change rooms for the second night, but my daughter who was traveling with me didn't want to deal with the hassle, so I figured I'd just live with it. The second night, though, someone was apparently doing laundry in the middle of then night, and I was woken up multiple times. The motel was nowhere near full and I don't understand putting a guest in that room except as a last resort. The staff seemed to be very inconvenienced anytime I asked for anything like a spare trash bag from the housekeeper, but in their defense they also seemed stressed, so maybe it's not a great place to work.

Pleasant front desk staff check in with ease. Older hotel but felt safe and clean. I appreciated the complimentary coffee and Tea in lobby. Breakfast options limited but they are limited on space as well so appreciate what was offered. Fair price and would stay again.

Disappointed how things were handled. Parked in the designated handicapped space with a small trailer. Out off the traffic lane and not in a place to impede emergency vehicles Was already in bed when staff knocked at the and asked me to move. As apparently UPS deliveries get priority over customers. But the real reason i was to move was that when the manager arrives he/she wants to have that spot and if it's not available then the staff get heavily scolded by the manager. I arrived late (10.30PM) and am leaving very early in the morning. And yes, by the way, I got dressed and moved the vehicle. It's the beginning of November. A very slow period, the parking lot is nearly empty. I'm afraid of getting broken into, That's why I chose that spot. I have a valid handicapped hang tag in my vehicle. Ps. Beds feel worn out and condition of room is poor to mediocre. Wall H/Vac unit is very noisy in room. T v is sitting low on a dresser, which is below the height of the bed, so your feet blocks the tv and makes viewing the tv from the bed impossible. ETC.... the usual items in disrepair, from a budget motel. Including broken tumblewee branches in the hallway.
