I wouldn't book with them again. I couldn't go on the trip because of the flu. We even tried to simply rebook beforehand, but it wasn't possible. We were charged the full amount. Unfortunately, no one else had time to go that weekend. Our room didn't even need cleaning, and they didn't provide breakfast either. I find that completely unacceptable.

We stayed at the Trolls Brauhaus Hotel for the first time and were very satisfied. The hotel is modernly renovated, very clean, and overall very well-maintained. The service is friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and the beds are comfortable – we slept wonderfully. A thoroughly enjoyable stay – highly recommended!

The room was okay, small but renovated. It was located at the back and therefore quiet. The bathroom wasn't completely clean; there was a layer of dust on the shelf and a tarnished mirror. Two mini bottles of shower gel (one per bottle for a double room, and it wasn't refilled). The pillows were unfortunately very thick and hard, so I asked for flatter ones in the morning. This hadn't been resolved by early evening. After asking again by phone, as the reception was closed, I was referred to the service staff in the hotel's brewery. However, I had already expressed my request there that morning – as the reception was also closed in the morning. When I told the manager that I had already expressed my request there that morning, he replied that I would just have to sleep without a pillow. It really couldn't be more unfriendly. So I contacted the service staff in the brewery again and finally received a flat pillow. All the hassle, especially the rude and inappropriate reaction from the manager, was unnecessary. What a shame. Overall, not worth 3 stars due to poor service, unmanned reception, and unfriendly manager.
