The hotel is a bit dated, but that's part of its charm. The location is fantastic, right on the beach. Parking is available for a fee at the nearby supermarket, which is also recommended. It's only a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were delicious. The rooms are a bit older, but the bathroom was renovated. We felt very comfortable here and would definitely book it again.

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately a complete disappointment and in no way met the expectations of a 4-star establishment. Even our arrival was anything but welcoming: Although we were traveling in the off-season and the hotel was clearly nearly empty, the check-in staff were completely inflexible and insisted on our arrival precisely at 3:00 PM, showing absolutely no consideration for our guests. When we were finally allowed to check into our room, we were met with a shocking sight. There was no trace of 4-star comfort; instead, we found a completely run-down room. An extremely limescale-encrusted showerhead, a moldy shower curtain, and torn towels testified to a lack of hygiene and maintenance. The carpet was visibly worn, and the entire interior felt neglected. The quality of sleep also left much to be desired, as the booked double bed consisted of nothing more than two single frames pushed together, which drifted apart at the slightest movement. Even watching television was impossible, as the set was rigidly mounted on the right-hand wall, making it virtually impossible to watch from the already uncomfortable bed. The situation was exacerbated by the lack of privacy and external disturbances. Since our window faced directly onto the balcony of the neighboring room, cigarette smoke constantly drifted into the room. Furthermore, the hotel's neon sign was so glaring that it illuminated the room brightly throughout the entire night, despite the curtains. The pricing policy for pets was an absolute outrage: A hefty €30 surcharge was levied for our small dog, weighing only 3.5 kg – without any compensation whatsoever. While other hotels in this price range provide a dog bed, a food bowl, or a toy, here we received only a small bag of old dog treats, which were clearly inedible and went straight into the trash. Considering the poor condition of the room, such a fee is simply outrageous. However, the way our complaint was handled was particularly frustrating. When I pointed out the issues at checkout, I was simply asked to submit photographic evidence via email. I did this immediately, but to this day I have received no response, apology, or compensation from management. It seriously raises the question of how this hotel received its star rating. We strongly advise against staying here.
