I found out about this place after seeing it featured on an information program, and made a reservation because I wanted to try Taiza crab. We were picked up by bus at Amino Station and arrived in about 25 minutes. The inn is small, but very clean and has a nice atmosphere. After checking in, the landlady appeared with a live crab. We also had our photo taken with the landlady and the crab. Dinner is served at either 5:30 or 6:00 PM. We had booked the full crab course, but ended up enjoying it from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. We were able to eat all the crab in every way, including the long-awaited Taiza crab, and our stomachs were almost full on crab alone. The rice porridge we finished off with was seasoned with crab miso and no egg. It was like a rich risotto, packed with the delicious flavor of the crab and was absolutely delicious! The room wasn't new, but we were able to lounge around in the Japanese-style room and relax thoroughly. The hot spring is small, but there are four washing areas and one indoor and one outdoor bath. It didn't feel particularly cramped either. As it's a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) I think most people come for the delicious crab rather than the facilities. We love crab, so we were very satisfied with our stay here. We'd definitely like to visit again!

When I went outside of crab season, there was not much seafood and it felt a bit disappointing. If you're going to go, I recommend going during crab season!
