I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and overall had a very positive experience. The facility is well organized, logisticalally, and the staff was very welcoming, helpful, and kind. You can sense good management and genuine attention to guests. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the overall cleanliness: the rooms were well-maintained and tidy, which greatly contributes to the quality of the stay. There are, however, a few small details that could be improved. In the bathroom, the shower mat had mold on the underside, which clashes somewhat with the excellent level of cleanliness. Furthermore, the room was designed for two people, but only one extra pillow was available: these are small touches that perhaps should be standard in a double room. Overall, a pleasant stay, with very professional staff and well-functioning organization.

Asked for quiet room, given room next to trams, that start at 05.15!Room hot and bathroom poor, dirty grouting, toilet not flushing. Not worth the money. Tried to get drink in bar, staff arrived but never served anyone.

Ummmm, no. See for yourself. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Towels were tattered, frayed, and full of holes. The sheet on the bed had black marks of some kind. They can’t help that there’s a lot of noise outside from people yelling, but they CAN make sure the window closes tightly, which it doesn’t, and so you hear everything as if the window was wide open. At breakfast one of their two (yes, only two) coffee machines broke. Then the line for coffee went from really long to unbearably long and then the second coffee machine broke and if you wanted coffee with the breakfast you paid for, well, tough luck. The breakfast area is crowded and congested, but admittedly the food is good. But breakfast in Rome without a coffee? No desire to ask how things were or compensate on the way out. This place is “fine” and nothing more. The location is the best part since it’s so close to the train station. But there are many choices in the same price range that are also close to the train station. My advice is to roll the dice and try one of the others. I know that’s what I’ll be doing next time.
