Well, firstly, the location is fantastic. It's just two floors up the escalator from Exit 1 of the subway, a quick turn and you're there. The reception is on the top floor, the rooms are below. The bakery downstairs is quite nice, but don't go as soon as it opens at 9 am, before the bread is even baked. The room was a bit tricky. Firstly, there were almost no light switches on the walls; you had to use a tabble. However, from the moment we entered and turned it on, it wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi. We only realized it wasn't connected when we finished getting ready and wanted to turn off the lights and go to sleep. We had to call the front desk via the internal phone to have it fixed. The staff were polite but didn't come in uninvited; however, they would have taken off their shoes if they really wanted to, even though it wasn't carpeted. Then, the bathroom was a fake "wet and dry separation." Although they moved the sink to the outside hallway and only had a shower and toilet, the glass door separating them was just a single pane of glass, not a sliding door. I even pulled off the protective plastic strip when I tried to pull it open... So after showering, the area in front of the toilet was completely wet. I thought about putting down a towel, but there were only four towels for two people... Anyway, the bathroom was a major drawback. However, the room was significantly larger than typical business hotels in Japan, and the bed was quite comfortable.

The three male staff members at the 14th floor reception are extremely kind and helpful, but I found the female staff working during the day are very unfriendly. There’s mildew/mold on the air conditioner vents in both the hallway and the room- they were quick to fix it when I notified them but it would be nice if they were maintained. Also it’s a bit disappointing that the hotel charges for towels. Otherwise, good location, housekeepers were nice. Got washer and dryer + laundry detergent/dryer sheet that accepts card but there’s only one available each so I suggest you use it in early morning.
