For us, this stay was too expensive for what we got. You expect peace, nature, and good service from a four-star hotel, but unfortunately, that was a big disappointment. Therefore, I'll share our experience in concrete terms: Restaurant & Service During dinner, we heard staff say they were "done with it." When we inquired about the chip shop, we were initially told it was open until 10:00 PM, but later learned everything was already off. The venison steak was deliciously tender, but the portions were small. The vegetables were cold, and the cheese board was disappointing. Tables were left empty for a long time with used cutlery, and we had to wait a long time for the bill. Bike Rental According to the A-Z regulations, an electric bike cost €23.50, but it turned out to be €29.50. The rented bike (no. 1064) stopped working at 30% battery, meaning we had to pedal hard on the way back. When we reported our problem, they didn't take it seriously, and we didn't receive a solution or apology. Reception There was only one staff member, which quickly became busy. The phone rang constantly, and the queue was long. The staff was friendly, but not very solution-oriented. This made it difficult to discuss questions or complaints. After the cycling experience, we left any further issues unsaid. Room The "Nature Room with Terrace" overlooked a road with constantly passing cars, a building, and passersby. There was little privacy. The room was noisy and not entirely clean (rubber band under the bed, water in the teapot). However, the room was modernly furnished, had plenty of towels, and a good coffee maker. Sauna The iPad reservation system wasn't working. We had reserved the sauna for 6:00 PM, but we didn't receive a message until 6:10 PM that it was full, leaving us standing in front of a closed door. We immediately made a new reservation (via reception) for the next morning at 9:00 AM. This time slot was still open on the iPad for verification. The sauna was 60 degrees Celsius, with no adjustment or water to pour on. Positive The fitness room had excellent equipment. The surroundings are beautiful, with lovely wooded areas and plenty of activities nearby. The nearby Petit Verdot restaurant was excellent.

We had a fantastic experience at this property. It was incredibly busy because of December 31st, but the two ladies behind the desk maintained a calm demeanor; respect! The rooms were clean, the breakfast was extensive, and any questions were answered immediately. A pleasant stay!
