The hotel itself is not bad. The breakfast was really good, and it was convenient being next to Aldi for quick snacks, but our overall experience was not great. When we arrived we had asked about parking. We were told by the gentleman at the front desk that we could park beside the building (which was always full) or use the garage which we were initially told would be 5€ A day. So we decided to go park the car, and when we returned, we were then told by the same gentleman the process of parking , and that it was going to be 12€ a day. We were confused but too tired from our flight to question so we just left it. The same gentleman told us to “let the front desk know” whenever we used it so we could be charged. Upon checkout, we had let them know that we only used it once, and to ensure we got one charge, but the lady that assisted us then told us that parking was free. We were a little annoyed that this wasn’t something that was written anywhere, and was just a bit more of a “by the way” thing. The room also wasn’t bad, but the shower does not have a door, so taking showers was also a bit of a mess. It had more of a “glass shield” that covered a very small portion of the first half of the bath, but the rest was open, making it easy for the water to get out. Last thing that I thought was somewhat interesting. One morning we were leaving to go downtown and I just wanted to grab a coffee. They had a coffee machine by the bar and I figured it was ok to use. When I grabbed a cup, a guy came around the corner real quick and stated if I wasn’t part of a conference group that was there, I couldn’t use it and that we had to pay for our coffee at the bar. So my fiancé and I grabbed two latte’s and as we sat there, 3 different people (who clearly weren’t coming from the conference room) used the same machine, and proceeded to go outside, sit in the lobby, or go back upstairs. Just as the garage issue, we didn’t understand why we were being told one thing and shown another… So if you need somewhere quick to stay that’s close to the airport I would suggest this place as it’s cheap, but I personally wouldn’t stay longer than a couple days if you are staying in the area longer than a week.
