This hotel is a horror, honestly, don't stay there. The rooms are unhygienic, the beds are uncomfortable, and the staff is rude and arrogant. It should really close down; the title of hotel is far too generous!

I gave the hotel a chance even after reading all the reviews, and it's the first time I've regretted something like this. I went with my partner for an anniversary trip to visit some friends. To start, there was no way to book. One day I found them on Booking.com, the next, I didn't. I sent a message on Instagram, and they sent me a message on WhatsApp. I booked at least two weeks in advance. Luis greeted me, showed me the rooms with bathtubs, and specifically booked one with a balcony because that was important to me. I had booked the Aura room, which includes a jacuzzi, balcony, and breakfast. During the reservation conversation, I emphasized that I'd read the Google reviews and wanted everything to go well because it was an anniversary trip. He assured me it would. After the reservation confirmation, I had no further contact with anyone until I arrived. The day I arrived, there was no one at reception. I had to go down to the pool to find the receptionist/waiter/all-rounder. When he was about to show us to our room, I thought he'd gotten us to the wrong room because he didn't take us to Aura, but to Ocaso, which doesn't have a balcony, is in rough construction upstairs, and is full of mirrors on the headboards and nightstands in the room. I told him it was a mistake, and his response was that he'd told him to change us to that room the day before via WhatsApp, without informing me, or that if he wanted, he'd cancel it for me, but it would be done later because the person who could do it wasn't there and never answered calls or messages from me or the person who greeted us. The reason they moved us without telling us was that there were other guests at the "hotel" who put them in our room because they were going to stay until the next day. We agreed to stay in the room, which was a complete downgrade. It had ugly decor and lots of mirrors. The view was half obscured by a metal roof. An ashtray still covered in ash was on the chairs outside the room. The internet never worked, nor did the air conditioning. It turned on but didn't circulate air, and the remote didn't respond. The only good thing was the bathroom, which was nice, although the door didn't close completely, and the TV had Netflix. Another thing that, although not the hotel's fault, made our experience worse: a child no older than 4, belonging to another guest, entered our room unsupervised. The good thing was that we were watching a movie and nothing happened. You can hear people from one room to the other. The next morning, there were other guests making noise in the adjacent room, and you could hear them banging on the wall. We were left with such a bad taste in our mouths that we didn't even want to use the breakfast we had already paid for to avoid further disappointment. The compensation we received for this experience was two complimentary beers from the person who greeted us upon arrival, and until we left the place, Luis responded and offered me a refund or a discount for the next reservation. I asked for a refund, and it was $260. The truth is, there won't be a next reservation, and I could have overlooked certain details with a better attitude, but the problem is the staff and their way of treating customers. If you took the time to read all this, it's because you're considering giving the place a try. I did the same and I regret it.

The entire facility is poorly maintained, and the cost isn't worth it. I had to buy an insecticide to combat the huge number of spiders, grasshoppers, centipedes, and other insects that were getting into the room. The furniture was in poor condition, and the cable TV service was cut off due to nonpayment. The problem is that they don't resolve any issues, even if they answer you with a smile. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!
