Vila Miola Hotel

Poor location, cold water, mess, and loud noise every day. Disrespectful service and false promises about parking. Weak structure — only the cleanliness and breakfast are good. Bad experience, I'll never go back. The location of the Vila Miola Hotel is terrible — the street in front is all broken and dilapidated, which makes entry and exit very difficult. Another negative point is that the room only has one access card, even with more than one person staying. In any minimally organized hotel, the right thing to do would be to provide two cards to facilitate use and avoid problems. The shower was also disappointing: the water was hot only on the first day, and even then with weak pressure. On the other days, it only worked with cold water. Being a beach hotel, the expectation is for a strong and stable water system, but this did not happen. Another very negative point is the barbecue area. The hotel has several available areas, but practically every day there were barbecues with a mess, shouting, and loud music, even though there were signs indicating that loud music was prohibited. No one on the staff bothered to warn or control the guests who were breaking the rules, which turned into a real mess for several days in a row. Furthermore, when we decided to have our own barbecue, we realized that the facilities were terrible: old, broken, and rusty grills, without adequate utensils. They practically give you a basic kit and leave you to fend for yourself, without any real conditions for barbecuing. So, if anyone is thinking of using this area, it's best to reconsider—it's not worth it. Now, the positive points: the cleanliness is excellent, the cleaning staff are very helpful and careful. The attendant Nicolas (morning shift) also deserves a mention—very polite and attentive. Another good point is the hotel kitchen, which serves very tasty and well-prepared food. The breakfast is great, and the women who work in the kitchen are extremely friendly and attentive. On the other hand, the overnight service with Ancelmo was the worst part of the stay. Besides being rude, he was disrespectful when we returned from an outing, rudely saying we couldn't park the car—even though the hotel website clearly states that parking is available. This is false information, as they promise something they don't deliver, and they also treat guests disrespectfully. Overall, the hotel needs significant improvement in its facilities, service, and fulfillment of its promises. I do not recommend it and do not intend to stay there again.

Great hotel, attentive staff, and impeccable breakfast. Whenever I go to Porto Seguro, I'll return to Vila Miola 🙃💚
