Villa 33 Kashikojima

We stayed for several nights with our pet. It was very comfortable and the value for money was good, even though it was the end of the year. The manager and staff were also very helpful. I'd like to stay again.

I booked a Japanese-style room. When I entered the room, I found a bunch of dead bugs, so I borrowed a vacuum cleaner and cleaned it myself. They didn't even bother to clean it. The sink was constantly dripping and wouldn't stop. Because of this, water was leaking under the sink, the walls were covered in mold, and the floor was damp from the water seeping in. It smelled of mold and rotten water. My socks were dirty. The floor was also raised from the water seeping in. I felt like I was going to get sick. I complained to the front desk, but they just said, "They can't fix it, so just lay down a towel," and they wouldn't change my room. The towels they gave me were terrible! There was trash left in the washing area of the women's public bath, and the changing room floor was covered in hair, so it didn't look like it had been cleaned. It's a shame I had to stay multiple nights. It's a shame, considering the quiet and seemingly pleasant atmosphere. I'll never stay here again. Then, after 9 PM, a staff member suddenly started knocking on my door...so persistently. "It's too much trouble, so would you like to change rooms?" they asked... I was staying for multiple nights, had unpacked my luggage, and was about to go to sleep... What now?! What are you talking about?! I'll explain the situation to the guest staying one night tomorrow and get their approval. That's just... so cruel of a guest! I really don't want to give them any stars. I told them I'd have to change the rags every day and then they'd leave. What on earth were they thinking? I spend quite a bit of time in hotels throughout the year, but... it's been a while since I've been so angry.

The hotel is simply wonderful! The large parking area is very convenient for guests with cars. The room is spacious, with beautiful and stylish furniture — everything is thoughtfully arranged. The cleanliness and tidiness are impeccable. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a small issue, and the receptionist assisted me quickly and professionally. The hotel also has an onsen, which was a real treat in the evening — warm and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort, coziness, and attentive service. Staying here is truly a pleasure!
