⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly the Perfect Family Villa in Crete! We stayed at Villa Alexander in Kalathas for a week as two families — one with two adults and a child, and the other with two adults and three children — and it couldn’t have worked out better! The villa is incredibly spacious and well-designed to accommodate larger groups without feeling crowded. We had plenty of room to spread out, yet still enjoy meals and relaxing time together. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs: one family shared a large, comfortable room, while the other used the even larger family-style room with enough space and beds for everyone. Both rooms had great storage, air conditioning, and lots of natural light. The private pool was an absolute highlight for the kids — they were in it every day, morning to evening. There are loungers for the adults, plenty of shade when needed, and even a lovely outdoor dining area where we enjoyed long dinners and barbecues. The kitchen was well-stocked and made preparing meals easy, and the living area was cozy and inviting for evening games and chats. The location is ideal — Kalathas beach is just a short drive (or a longer walk), and it’s a quiet, safe, and very family-friendly area. Chania town is nearby as well, which made for easy day trips, shopping, and dining out. A big thank you to our host and to Ioannis , who was warm, helpful, and full of local tips. We were even welcomed with some homemade treats and fresh fruit on arrival — such a thoughtful touch. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as two families. Villa Alexander gave us the space, comfort, and relaxation we were hoping for. We are thinking of coming back next July

Very clean and pleasant place, the information desk lady was incredibly helpful and kind. The only downside was the military planes, a huge roar around 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.
