Villa Gdynia

This was our second and last stay at Villa Gdynia – precisely because of the owners' behavior. My dad was called out for parking, which demonstrates an extreme lack of respect for guests. The full payment for the entire reservation – even for people who didn't arrive and didn't eat a single breakfast – was a manifestation of pure greed. The breakfasts were very meager, often leftovers, and the rooms smelled of sewage. We only received a receipt after asking for it. Minor shortcomings could be forgiven, but greed and disrespect – not. Before leaving a review, I wrote to the owners, but they didn't even bother to respond. This only confirms our experience. Interestingly, during our previous stay, we encountered very polite and friendly staff – so this time the disappointment is even greater. We will not be returning and we do not recommend it. Update after the property's response: It's difficult to report cultural issues when they originate from the owners themselves. The very unpleasant tone of the complaints directed at my father and the lack of courtesy from the owner leave no doubt as to how guests are treated. Generally, it's probably not you who should be upset, but us – after such an experience. Especially since the response doesn't mention charging for breakfast for absent guests, the unpleasant smell in the rooms, or the need to ask for a receipt. And the breakfasts – as confirmed by many other reviews – are simply poor. Together, they paint a picture of a place where greed and disrespect overshadow basic care for guests.
