Villa Panalai

A 3-day, 2-night stay here was the perfect trip for first-time travelers. It's easy to get to, with no uphill/downhill roads; the roads are all interconnected, so you won't get lost. The reception staff were warm and friendly from the moment we arrived until check-out. The resort has its own activities like a spa (unfortunately, the masseuse was off on the days we stayed), a ping pong table, boating, and bicycles available to ride to both reservoirs without the hassle of signing in/exchanging cards/paying extra. The villa's atmosphere is a perfect 10/10 – cool breezes, surrounded by trees, flowers, and water. The room was quite well-equipped, even including lotion. The TV had Netflix and YouTube. Don't worry about the air conditioning not being cold enough; it's cold enough to make your throat sore within 5 minutes. The highlight of the breakfast was the salad – the vegetables were incredibly fresh and crisp. There was a wide variety of water and juices to choose from, even a detox juice (first time I'd seen that!). Desserts included yogurt with fresh fruit, which tasted great. Dinner was ordered from the kitchen via a convenient QR code system, allowing you to choose your serving time. The price is quite expensive, but the quality is good; I don't regret the money spent. The only problem I encountered was with the room itself: 1. The room was extremely dusty. It wasn't dust on the tables, cabinets, or floor, but dust from the curtains, towels, and bed that rose up every time I entered the room. 1. In a room with so much fabric, the accommodation should have better dust management. Those with allergies or respiratory problems might want to reconsider. 2. The smell from the bathroom drain was quite strong. Fortunately, the bathroom had an exhaust fan. 3. The shower curtain in the bathroom didn't completely cover the mirror. Even though it's not a place where many people walk, it's easy to see in. Compared to the price per night, it's undeniable that I expected more cleanliness from the accommodation. If this place could improve the rooms, especially the dust problem, it would be a perfect place for a 3-day, 2-night trip.

This is my second stay here, and it's great! The food is delicious.
