Villa Turística de Laujar de Andarax

We spent three Christmas days there, and thank goodness. We found a hotel with nice views, but the rooms were damp and dirty, as you can see in the photos. In the deluxe room, we can also add the rock-hard beds, as if you were sleeping on the floor. The air conditioning kept us awake every time it was turned on, and the small refrigerator was so noisy we had to turn it off. I don't even want to think about the lower-category rooms. We asked to change rooms, but they told us it was impossible because they were full. That wasn't true, because we were the only ones with that type of room. Now, the restaurant, if you can call it that, was terrible. The breakfast buffet was just okay and bad, but dinner was even worse. They should replace the chef. For starters, it was either mashed potatoes or salad, and for the main course, meat or fish that was disgusting. They fancy the names, like "confit tomato," but it was just plain old boxed tomatoes. To top it all off, the service was incredibly slow, and they even had someone coughing without a mask while serving. To give you an idea of how slow they were, three courses plus dessert on New Year's Eve. We arrived at 8:30 pm and left at 11:20 pm without even having the champagne and grapes—how awful! All this for the modest price of €600 for three nights. And then they ask me how my stay was? I replied: "Finally, I'm leaving!"

They're tiny apartments with a terrace, a spacious bedroom, a bathroom, and heating, surrounded by nature. The only downside is the access from the village, as it's not lit. Otherwise, it's fantastic.

Very nice place with good facilities. They have tennis courts and ping pong tables for entertainment.
