I was deeply impressed by the way the beach staff handled the space issue. He had clearly grabbed a sunbed and placed my luggage on it, had even told the staff member he'd bring a towel, and had already placed my drink order. But while I was away for a moment, a white person was unpacking their luggage on my spot. The most absurd thing was the staff member's response. Instead of approaching the person trying to take the spot and firmly telling them, "That spot is already occupied," he subtly tried to move me, the original occupant, to a different spot. Shouldn't common sense be used to turn away the person trying to take the spot, not the first customer? As an Asian, experiencing this situation has left me with many thoughts. I sincerely hope they didn't try to offend a respected white customer by sacrificing a seemingly small Asian person.

Good hotel, cleaning every day, large room and bed, great pool

This accommodation is well-known to Koreans, but I was worried because many reviews mentioned unfriendly staff. Fortunately, I didn't encounter any such staff. The staff greeted me first when we met. We were able to use the free beach chairs, which are available to all guests, and there were no unreasonable charges. Of course, the location was also excellent. Turtles and fish were swimming right on the beach. The large pool was also pleasant, and the breakfast was decent. However... I overlooked the turtles when I booked, but the biggest inconvenience I experienced during my stay was 1. The air conditioning isn't cool. It feels cool when you enter the room after being outdoors. However, it starts to feel hot after a while. Even with curtains drawn and doors tightly closed to try to keep the room cool, it still didn't cool down. Even the air conditioning continued to deteriorate, so on the last night of our four nights, it was so hot I couldn't sleep. By the time we checked out, the room was even hotter than the windy outside. 2. I knew the shower was a sunflower faucet, but the water was coming out too slowly. ㅜ.ㅜ And there was no hot water either. 3. The resort was under construction, so it was quite noisy. The noise from the construction was so loud that I woke up from a nap in my room during the day. 4. The ceiling was broken in some places, so I was worried it might collapse. Next time I visit Gili, I plan to choose a more modern accommodation with strong air conditioning and good water flow.
