It's a huge mistake when people complain about the hotel bar and restaurant le 1913 which aren't actually the same brand name of the Villars Palace 5-star hotel. From my experience as a guest, it felt like a dream come true. We had a tea room just for hotel guests, a coffee machine, and a fridge stocked with plenty of soft drinks. Plus, there was a luxurious selection of high-quality teas for tea lovers like me to enjoy while taking in the breathtaking window view. The hotel reception staff were incredibly polite, offering me a hot apple cider to warm up and explaining everything thoroughly. The breakfast was outstanding, with the option to have fried eggs, omelettes, or any kind of eggs made right in front of you, and they were delicious. The entire hotel staff and management team are truly amazing!

We enjoyed an aperitif on the beautiful terrace; the staff were friendly, and there were blankets and outdoor heaters. The view was lovely, and there was paid parking for non-hotel guests.

The most beautiful spot in Villars for a sunny terrace lunch with mountain views! We had a very pleasant time; the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. And above all, the manager was incredibly kind from beginning to end.
