Worst Marriott experience in 25 years – felt like they didn’t want guests I’ve spent over 1,300 nights at Marriott properties in the last 25 years, so trust me when I say this place is bizarre. Pulled up last night and honestly thought the hotel was closed. The entire front is pitch-black, zero lighting, zero welcome. Huge circle driveway covered in “Passenger loading/unloading ONLY – NO PARKING” signs everywhere. The actual parking lot is completely fenced off and locked. Where do you check in? You have to drive around to a side door about 300 feet away, down a one-way driveway. After you register, you’re forced to pull into the neighboring bank parking lot, wait at a red light, loop all the way around, and come back just to enter their “secure” guest parking. It’s the most unwelcoming arrival I’ve ever seen at any hotel, let alone a Marriott. Walked in and the guy at the desk didn’t even look up or say hello. First words out of his mouth: “If you want to leave your car out front it’s $10.” Fantastic greeting. Paid extra for a high-floor room close to the elevator. Got a high floor… at the very end of the longest hallway imaginable, about as far from the elevator as you can get. Then the nightclub downstairs started thumping. Hard. The bass was so loud my bed, walls, and windows were literally vibrating until 11:00 PM. On the top floor. Unbelievable. Breakfast the next morning? Self-service everything. Grabbed my own coffee, set my own table, hunted down silverware. Someone eventually dropped off a coffee carafe with zero conversation. That was the warmest interaction I had the entire stay. This place feels like they actively don’t want you there. I’ll never return, and as a lifelong Marriott loyalist, that’s saying something. Avoid this one.

Convention Center. Lobby area looks nice. Room clean but furniture stained and could use replacement. Placement of shower amenties in awkward spot. Breakfast was good - quality avocado toast and nice buffet with made order eggs/omelets. Coffee decent but not strong.
