Vivanta Goa, Panaji

We visited and stayed at this property for 2 nights during our extended trip to Goa.Situated at the heart of Goa's capital Panjim city,it provides easy accessibility to all prime locations in Goa as well as all the areas of North and South Goa region.We were upgraded to the deluxe suite courtesy of the Gm Mr Souvik Chakraborty and the executive chef Mr Dipayan,special thanks and Regards to both of them for the same.The suite was spacious and had a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery as well parts of the city.We also enjoyed all our meals both lunch and dinner in the property under the supervision of the executive chef and his team.The restaurant manager Mr Santosh was a nice and helpful person who served us and took special care of us throughout the meals.Special shoutout to Chef Vishnu,who cooked all those tasty bengali dishes for us which is very rare in Goa and thanks to him we could taste our hometown food.Quality of culinary offerings in this property is of a very high standard considering the low price when compared to other taj hotels.The HK did a fantastic job of room cleaning and upkeep everyday,and gave a fast and efficient service. They also have a speciality restaurant called Tamara in the property which is very popular.Unfortunately we missed eating there.Despite this being a Vivanta,it has a fully functional J Wellness spa which is usually present in main taj hotels.Also the prices of treatments are pretty reasonable and cheaper in this one. We also took the hotel car one day to visit Dona Paula jetty,nearby mall and other adjoining places of Panjim.The driver was well behaved and it was a hassle free journey.They have their own hotel cars for guest use at a reasonable rate,unlike resorts of South Goa where Goa's Union problem is prevalent and no property is allowed to keep cars of their own.This property being in the north side,doesn't have this problem. The employees of every department,be it housekeeping,F and B or front office,are all very polite and helpful.We also did the laundry one day and the clothes came back as very well laundered and nicely folded. They have a variety of room categories as well as 3 kinds of suites.The basic room price starts around 10k at this time but has got adequate size of 500 sq ft which is value for money at this price point.There is no sea view in any room as the hotel is located at the middle of the city,but the upper floor rooms have nice city view.Some of the suites have a sit out area or a small extended balcony like our suite had,which gives nice views as well as a comfy area to relax in evening.The suites have a good area of almost 700 sq ft and is divided into a separate living room and bed room.They also have a very large top category suite called Vivanta suite located at the top floor of the hotel.Its almost 900 sq ft and unfortunately in our days of stay,it was sold out so couldn't see it. The best part of this property is their rooftop pool.Nice and clean pool chairs with pool attendant readily available to assist guests.The water has a 24 hour filtration system and is very clean.The entire city looks very nice at night sitting and relaxing in the pool area.It became one of our favourite places to visit during the evenings in the property. Special thanks once again to the entire team for hosting and taking such good care of us including Mr Souvil Bhattacharya,Chef Dipayan,Chef Vishnu,Mr Santosh and everyone else. We hope to be back soon.

The staff was all smiles did a gig in the memory of sir Ratan tata at the reception food was awesome especially masala buttermilk and lauki ka kofta thanks to the chef Got a pickup on time from airport I stayed there for two nights couldn’t access the pool but would like to some other time reception-Bliss ,Akanksha,dhroov Security-Mohammed All were friendly and also helped my travel in the city

The place is very clean and lavish. The staff is super helpful. Everyone, especially Ms Ancy, was super good and even got us a small cake for our anniversary. Rooms ,restaurants, and general ambience is very nice! 100% recommended place and i will visit again
