Hello! My experience at the accommodation was pretty bad! I left a small amount of money in my suitcase, carefully counted, in a pocket under my clothes. When I went to get it, it wasn't in that pocket. I was out with my clothes, and housekeeping had come by. The surprise was that I was missing €120. I reported it, and the response was that this had never happened there, that the cleaner couldn't come (she only came in and checked the cameras). I tried to fix it, but they told me they weren't responsible for theft at their accommodation. So, it's terrible. They stole €120 from me, and they haven't provided a solution.

Most reviews are from hotel guests, but the real business of Vizcainos is renting flats to students, mostly international ones, who pay up to 2000€ a month (as myself). I was a first-year student living there, my first time abroad, and it turned into one of the worst experiences of my life The owners are hostile and malevolent. They once called us “favelados”, they were labeling us as if we were beneath them, associating us with poverty and slums in a very offensive way, in front of others, and made many false accusations they later had to apologize for. They do not treat students with basic respect, and they let emotions and anger dictate how they run the place. The biggest issue is safety and privacy. I was forced to install cameras inside my own bedroom because while I was out, they would enter my locked room without permission. Even worse, they had surveillance cameras recording us 24/7 throughout the house, which is okay, but these feeds were livestreamed at their hotel, where strangers could watch us live our lives without consent. This is not only unethical but terrifying I will admit, at times we were not the perfect clients. We had parties, brought people over, and acted like students. That part is understandable. But instead of handling it professionally, they crossed a line and treated us like something less than human, not like their paying clients. Worse, they generated hate toward our apartment within their own circle, isolating and targeting us instead of resolving issues fairly. There was never professionalism, only intimidation, invasion of privacy, and constant stress. What should have been a safe home for students was the opposite. If you are a parent looking for housing for your child, know that Vizcainos is not a safe or trustworthy place.
