The room was okay, but there were still things left behind by the previous guest, and nobody even bothered to check the ceiling (there were cobwebs). I also wonder why nobody adjusted the curtains. I found the issue of the vegan breakfast problematic. I clarified this beforehand, before booking (I had planned for 5 nights). I was told they would prepare something. Ultimately, upon check-in, it turned out that this was a false statement – without any compensation. They then gave me gluten-free items and presented them as vegan. It's outrageous that they don't know the difference in 2025 for a hotel like this. I returned the items, and they said they would get back to me shortly. After 20 minutes, no one had come, so I left. By that point, I had already been waiting for over 30 minutes.

Check-in was officially scheduled for 2:00 PM. We arrived on time but were told the room would be ready in about 30 minutes. After a 45-minute wait, the room still wasn't ready. We weren't given any further information, so we went for a short walk. When we inquired again at 4:00 PM, the staff initially didn't know if the room was ready. They had to consult with housekeeping before we could finally check in. Constructive suggestion: It would be more helpful to communicate a realistic check-in time (e.g., 4:00 or 5:00 PM) from the outset, instead of making a promise that ultimately can't be kept. Unfortunately, breakfast was very chaotic. The breakfast area was completely overcrowded, and several items were temporarily unavailable or out of stock (pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, Nutella). There were no free tables in the brasserie itself, nor at the bar. Several guests therefore had to eat their breakfast in armchairs in the lobby, which didn't really do justice to the breakfast experience. The room itself was fine. However, what we missed were at least two complimentary bottles of water, as is standard practice in many other hotels. Overall, the staff seemed friendly but at times overwhelmed – presumably due to the high occupancy. With better organization, clearer communication, and adequate breakfast logistics, the stay could be significantly improved.

I booked a junior suite but received a standard room – not very customer-friendly. When I complained at reception, they said sorry, the hotel was fully booked. Bravo! They sell expensive suites and fob off customers with significantly cheaper standard rooms.
