Wellness Hotel Volarik

The hotel is very nice. It has a beautiful modern design. The breakfast was absolutely luxurious, a large selection of everything. The room was smaller, but very nice. The only small minus was the presence of several families with children in the wellness pool, which is not very large. I understand that this cannot be completely influenced, but it was clear that it bothered other couples without children who wanted to relax. Fortunately, the entrance to the pool is from 5 pm without children, so after that my husband and I enjoyed it.

The receptionist upon arrival was very nice, he explained everything to me, gave me the room card and informed me that the room was on the same floor as we were standing. This was great news for me, because I travel with two small children and the idea of dragging them up the stairs is really challenging. However, after wandering around for a while, we found out that the room was actually a few floors lower and we had to go up the stairs. With children, luggage and two strollers, it was really uncomfortable and exhausting. On the other hand, dinner in the restaurant was very pleasant - the staff was helpful and the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately, the night was terrible. The room was overheated and you could only sleep with the air conditioning on, which you don't want with small children. When we opened the windows, they were right where the children were sleeping, so it wasn't ideal either. As a result, we sweated all night and didn't get much sleep. In addition, there was a box or device humming behind the entrance door, making an unpleasant noise. When we checked out, the new receptionist apologized for the colleague who was supposedly new. I understand, but it was enough to just take a closer look and make sure where the room really was - especially since it is obvious that the guests have children, luggage and strollers. For the price of 5,600 CZK per night, I would honestly imagine a different service.

Stayed March 6-8, 2026, room 116 Our stay at this hotel left us with very mixed feelings. On the one hand, there is a beautiful environment, on the other hand, a fundamental failure in service and ethics. What we liked: • Location and design: The hotel's location is really great - excellent location and very pleasant surroundings. The hotel itself is beautiful, the interiors have a stylish feel. • Accommodation: The room was smaller, but perfectly adequate, clean and very well equipped. In this respect, the stay was pleasant. • Gastronomy: The breakfasts were excellent and plentiful. • Bright spot of the staff: We would like to highlight the sauna attendant, Ms. Lenka. Her approach was absolutely perfect, professional and thanks to her, visiting the sauna was an experience. Serious mistakes and disappointments: • Failure to comply with wellness rules: The hotel declares that after 5 pm it is an "adults only" zone, which was one of the reasons for our choice. Reality? We had to endure the screaming and running of children for an hour. The staff did not solve the situation at all, so we had to leave the wellness area in disgust. • Amazing Places standard: The presentation on this platform promises a high standard and precise service, which the experience did not correspond to in many ways. • SHOCK AT CHECK-OUT – Fake signature: The absolute highlight was check-out. An item of 580 CZK appeared on the bill for wine that we never ordered or consumed. When making a complaint, we were presented with a receipt on which someone had forged our signature. It is unbelievable that such things happen in a hotel of this category. I recommend that all guests check the final bill very thoroughly. The hotel has great potential, but the approach to the rules and honesty towards the guest are significantly lacking here.
