Whale Hua Hin

The rooms are neither old nor new, just average, but they are huge! The bed and pillows are great.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is polite, and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. Parking is convenient, and the breakfast bar offers a wide variety of choices. Upstairs, there's a swimming pool, fitness center, bar, sauna, and massage services.

A very enjoyable place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, space, and a quiet environment. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a retreat from the busier parts of Hua Hin. The staff truly stand out. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, helpful, and welcoming, and they are a great reflection of the hotel overall. Their warmth really enhances the experience. Rooms are exceptionally large, very clean, and feel safe and well maintained. The amenities on site are nice, and having a restaurant at the hotel is convenient. While the washroom layout is a bit unusual, it is functional. The main downside in the room is the shower. It is not mounted overhead. Instead, it is handheld and fixed at about waist level, so you have to hold it above your head while showering, which is a bit annoying. In terms of location, the hotel is not in the primary hot spot of Hua Hin. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and a 7 Eleven is about a 10 minute walk away. The main shopping and beach areas are not walkable and would take about an hour on foot. That said, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the shopping district and beach every two hours, which helps a lot. Otherwise, a Grab ride to the action costs roughly 5 to 7 USD and is very reasonable. While it is not right in the heart of everything, it is also not too far removed, and the peaceful setting is a nice trade off. Overall, between the spacious rooms, quiet environment, excellent staff, and good value, I would absolutely stay here again.
