Worldquest Orlando Resort

If I could leave negative 10 stars, that would be a compliment right now. I am more than offended and blown away in disbelief. I came across this place when my family bought annual passes to Disney. I had two somewhat pleasant stays here(bc I’m relaxed and took the soaking wet couch??- on night one, and black chunks coming out of the jets of the jacuzzi tub on stay two- in stride and with a sense of humor) So, when my daughter needed a 6:30 am flight out of Orlando, and my other two daughters had a flight coming IN to Orlando twelve hours later at 6:30 pm, I called them to book a night and make the entire traveling experience as painless as possible. The afternoon before, I called them up and was given a discount and a rate of $225 for the night. Expensive for a few hours of sleep but I felt at least it was somewhere familiar. I was put on hold and after twenty minutes, gave up. I later called back to solidify my booking, I again asked for the price WITH TAXES and in total, and asked for a room with a pull out couch. The girl on the phone assured me all was good to go and that they had my information down and abruptly ended the call. No confirmation number, no email. At this point I’m accustomed to the young kids they have manning the desk, and haven’t ever had a problem checking in, but I still made sure to call back before leaving down and double check we had our room booked. They said we did. I had a late night at work, we ended up not getting to Orlando world resort until 12:45 am. I go to check in, the young kid at the desk then asks me for $335. I explained that was impossible, and everything I’ve explained here to. He was super smug, even laughing and smiling, and just shrugged me off and told me he would go ahead and cancel the room. I informed him I have 3 kids in the car, one of which is 5 years old… it’s 1 am, this is not the price I was given. I feel like this is truly a scam, and the reason every time I’ve booked here I’ve had to beg for a confirmation number and email of any type. I do not believe this is the first time they’ve done this to people, esp return guests, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I am disgusted they would treat their customers this way, or that anyone would think a few hours in a hotel room should cost over $300(no breakfast, simply beds and a tv and possibly a wet couch) stay if you want, at your own risk, just be warned. I won’t be staying again. I booked down the road for less than my initial price given and am glad to have new options. What a damn shame. Oh and WINCHEL (wenchell) is the name of the college aged kid who laughed smugly as I left to go back into the cold and tell my family we had to find another place to stay bc I refuse to spend almost $350 dollars on a partial nights sleep. Shame on you for treating returning customers like this

Family stays all the time lovely little get aways with all the amenities. Highly recommend for families that want a home away from home.

Complete waste of money. Don’t ever waste your time or money staying here. Pools were supposed to be heated, nope, also had tons of things floating in it like it wasn’t skimmed in weeks.. Took my wife for her birthday specifically for that and the new renovated rooms with the large bathtubs. Well the hot water never actually got hot in the showers and the little warm water that did come out turned to cold water halfway into filling the tub for my wife. Not enough towels in the rooms. They didn’t think to change the way the refrigerator and freezer doors open so that’s pain in the neck to try and open. No ice or ice makers in the room or anywhere. Dogs barking all the time cause they allow pets. The bottom floor of the building smelled like raw sewage the entire stay. Was an absolute waste of money staying there. I would never ever recommend it for anyone else to stay there. We are annual pass holders from the Tampa Bay Area and frequently stay in Orlando and never ever had an experience like this. Every time we called the front desk they just said we will let management know but that didn’t do anything to even try and fix the problem. For the most part ey spent even a 50 dollar credit back would have eased things some but they didn't really seem to care about the issues or customer satisfaction. Will tell everyone I know who asks about nice places to stay when going to Orlando that I wouldn’t ever stay here.
