The hotel is very nice, quiet, and comfortable. The staff makes you feel right at home. The windows are soundproof, so the rooms are quiet. Phase 2 of the hotel is now complete, so everything is very peaceful, and I plan to return and stay in a new room.

This place is an active construction zone two-thirds under construction. When I checked in and heard the loud buzzing circular saws, men yelling, and hammers tapping metal, I asked what the hours of work were. The front desk told me only 8am to 5pm. All day, but reasonable I suppose to at least get to sleep in to 8am. The next morning I was woken up by loud screeching buzz saws and men yelling at 7am. I called the front desk, but they said they had no power to ask them to wait until at least 8am. I went out on my courtyard facing balcony and there were construction workers on the balconies talking on speaker phone and staring at me whenever I went out. The front desk person was kind enough to relocate me to another room further from the noise, but you can still hear it everywhere on the resort. I don't think they should operate the hotel until they're done with construction. That said, the outside space shows great promise and the semi private beach space is also lovely if you discount the noise. I would come back when construction is completed.
