Ximen Triple Tiger Hostel

Located near Ximen MRT station, the rooms are small and poorly soundproofed, but the price is cheap, so it's acceptable for one night!

1. I was only told at check-in that it was in a different building with no elevator, so I had to carry my suitcase up four flights of stairs. | Reason: Because I booked the lowest price. Me: ??? 2. The room was like a suite in a rented apartment. The layout of the closets was strange, there was basically no table to use, and I wouldn't know how to eat food brought back. (So, I had to eat out.) 3. There were ants in the closets, black spots and hair (cigarette beetles) on the bed, and bagworms on the walls. 4. The toilet was tiny; it was difficult for me to move around in it alone. It was the first time I'd encountered a hotel providing toilet paper in a roll, and it wasn't even in a box; the whole roll was just sitting there naked on the shelf. (???) When showering, the bathroom was basically soaking wet, so the toilet paper had to be placed high up. 5. I don't know why, but there were so many mirrors, they were just pasted on (one whole mirror inside the door, four in the bathroom, and another next to the bed). 6. The soundproofing is poor; even on the fourth floor, you can still hear noise from the third floor below, not to mention the sounds from the alley outside. 7. The floor felt sparsely cleaned, with a rough, gritty texture. Over 1500 RMB per night (including tax) If you're looking for a place to shower and get a good night's rest, I suggest not considering this.

The location is simply the best! It’s near so many things that you’ll never run out of things to do. While the room is not the most “luxurious” it has this cozy feeling which makes it more pleasant than I expected.
