The accommodation isn't new, but it's very cozy and has all the necessary amenities. The staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations. I would definitely stay there again if I have the chance.

I stayed here for one night with an overseas friend who came to Yame to explore Japanese culture with local traditional craft artisans. My friend stayed for a full week, and this hotel worked well as a base 😊 This is a budget business hotel in the historic castle town area of Yame-Fukushima. The hotel itself is old and very ordinary—just a typical business hotel—but the location is the real highlight. It’s right in the middle of Yame’s historic old town 🏯 Because of that, it’s a great choice for budget travelers who want to enjoy the historic district affordably, and for long-stay visitors interested in Japanese traditional culture. You’ll be close to indigo dyeing, handmade washi paper, lanterns, Buddhist altars, stone lanterns, and also authentic Yame matcha and Yame gyokuro tea farms 🍵 Rooms: very simple and no-frills—nothing fancy, but practical. 🚗 Free parking (convenient if you rent a car) 🧺 Laundry room for long stays 🚲 Bicycle rental, perfect for exploring old shrines, temples, and traditional streets ♨️ Rooftop onsen included—guests can enjoy a free hot spring while looking over the town 🐱 There’s even a cat at the front desk! I booked a breakfast-included plan for 7,700 JPY per night. For the price and the location, it was a solid deal 👍 八女の看板猫がいるホテルです。ホテルのフロントに猫が住んでますよ🐾
