Yindee Travellers Lodge - Hostel

Let me give you an honest review. Three years ago, I stayed at Yindee Home & Cafe. It was a wonderful place, incredibly clean and beautiful with a vintage vibe. But a few days ago, my boyfriend booked me the same place, but on the 4th floor. I said it was good, and it was okay. But then I thought, the first time I stayed there, it was only 2 floors, while the 4th floor is in another building. It wasn't anything special, so I thought it would be just as good. From now on, I'll review it based on what I've stayed before. 1. There wasn't enough parking, so I had to find my own parking spot. 2. The room I got on the 4th floor was very high up. The 2nd and 3rd floors are dormitories for large groups, and it was very noisy. 3. There was only one room on the 4th floor. It shouldn't even be considered a room. It was very small and cramped. The moment I opened the key, I wanted to leave. 4. The day I drove a long distance, sitting for so long, made my hips hurt badly. Having to go up to the 4th floor was already bad enough (there's no elevator). I was about to grab some paracetamol to relieve the pain, but there wasn't even a single bottle of water in the room. Usually, when I stay anywhere, they provide at least 2 bottles of water, but this time, there wasn't any. There was also no refrigerator. Imagine someone with a herniated disc having to drag themselves down from the 4th floor to flush water from the cabinet below. How excruciating! 5. The TV in the room only shows three channels. The signal disappears after a while. 6. The light near the headboard, I don't know why it's there. The bulb is broken and unmaintained. 7. I want to hang clothes, but I don't know where to hang them. I was about to hang them, but I found incense on the bedside table. I didn't dare hang them. I didn't know what kind of incense. 8. I can't imagine what would happen if I accidentally locked the door in the bathroom. It locked, but I couldn't open it. I had to ask someone outside to turn the key. It was horrifying. 9. The bathroom was decorated in a vintage style, whether it was really old or not, but there were worms or earthworms crawling up the pipes. There was no drain in the toilet area, so I didn't know where the water would drain to. (But the next morning, the water was gone.) 10. The bathroom ceiling and roof were leaking from the vents. It was raining the day I went. I showered, and the rain dripped down my head, and I washed my hair. 11. The water heater was wired extremely dangerously. There was only black tape around three wires. I couldn't imagine a family with a child accidentally splashing water onto the water heater. 12. The shower head holder couldn't be adjusted to allow water to splash directly onto us. It was too loose and weak. The shower area was very narrow. I had to close the curtain, and my back didn't want to touch the curtain because I didn't know if it was clean. I had to be careful of earthworms or worms crawling on my feet. I had to hold the shower head in my left hand, and I had to be careful of rainwater dripping down my head. I had to wash my hair in my right hand. The shower head felt like it had gravel stuck to it, shooting in different directions. I had to be careful not to hit the water heater. I'd get electrocuted. The bathroom lights, you know? They were so outdated. They weren't bright at all. If you ask why I don't have any photos, my girlfriend and I didn't even want to take any to remember this trip. To be honest, I was so disappointed and upset. I thought it would be as good as the other Yindee building, but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in hotels in many provinces, but I've never encountered anything like this. I've seen so many bad reviews here, but I'm confused as to why the owner isn't trying to improve. I was going to complain to the staff the next morning, but the counter staff were so helpful and knowledgeable, I thought I'd just let it slide. But another part of me thought, let's review it. I don't want other people to go through the same thing as me.

It's the first trip. that opened up new experiences Become both a friend and a customer at the same time. The owner provides good service, is very friendly, the room is clean, beautiful and inviting. Cool air conditioning, good accommodation. There are both economical and worthwhile models at every price. Both hostel and single room types are good. Overall very good. Recommended.
