This was our last option to find a hotel after we had a terrible experience at the previous place, and we were genuinely satisfied with our stay at YMCA Kuala Lumpur Hotel. We checked in around 10pm. Although the receptionist was not present at that time, the process was still very smooth. They had already prepared the deposit documents and placed the room key at the counter for us. The security guard had also been informed of our arrival, so once we reached the hotel, he immediately assisted us by handing over the key. Three of us stayed in one room with three single beds, and the room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Do note that the bathroom is not attached to the room — it is a shared bathroom located outside — but it was clean, well-maintained, and far better than expected for a shared facility. The location is extremely convenient as it is close to KL Sentral and public transportation, making it easy for us to get around. We also felt very safe throughout our stay. The housekeeping ladies were very kind and attentive. They checked on us from time to time and asked if we needed the room to be cleaned or changed. Overall, the experience here was pleasant, clean, safe, and truly worth staying — especially after what we went through before.

My stay at the YMCA Hotel in Malaysia was generally pleasant and a solid choice for the price. It's conveniently located not far from KL Sentral, a quick walk or ride away, making it ideal for connecting trains or heading to the airport. The room was clean and simple. While not new, the amenities were well-maintained, with everything you need, including hot water, air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a homely affair, consisting of toast, eggs, and some Malay-style dishes, and the taste was quite standard. The overall environment was quiet, making for a comfortable sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions. The only minor drawback was the slightly lacking soundproofing, allowing for some noise from the hallway, but it was still acceptable. Overall, if you're looking for good value, clean, safe accommodations, and convenient transportation, the YMCA is a great choice.
