YOTEL BOSTON

I definitely understand the reviews of the room being small, because it is but I had a great stay here! The staff was top notch! Polite, accommodating, and very welcoming. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the skyline and good drinks and the location was great! The room is tight but very clean, updated, and vibey. Purple mattress was a great plus and I liked how it had the functionality to be both a “couch” and then would convert into a full bed! Could be tight for two people who like their own space but I would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed the vibe of the place and the staff was nice. The rooms are small so it’s only fitting for a short term stay single person. For couples the space will be tight! There was no fridge idk what’s up with the new boutique hotels not having a fridge in the room but the front desk will provide a mini cosmetic fridge to your room. You can fit one drink in it lol. I enjoyed the futuristic vibe the LED lights and the adjustable mattress. The rooms are clean and every time we left there were new towels and a made up bed. My biggest con is the PARKING. Valet it’s 80 a day and there is a garage around the corner that’s 67 a day. My advice is to uber everywhere because you will pay a fee for parking everywhere. This was my 1st visit to Boston so now I know. Overall cool convenient vibe and location.

Stayed here with my boyfriend to go bar hopping for the first time in months and decided to stay here since it’s one of the cheapest at $90/night for Boston. It’s nice and clean, definitely a bit small but living in a dorm room gets you used to that. There’s no amenities except for an ice machine on the floor. There’s so no privacy which was fine but for other guests I’m not too sure they would enjoy a completely glassed shower and toilet. I’m also pretty disappointed as they really get you with the “additional resort fees” you won’t realize exist until checkout that’s over $40/night. It’s pretty misleading because now it’s closer to $150/night rather than $100 because of those fees and because they write it in the tiniest of fonts when you go to book, it’ll be a surprise when you check out! I checked and this was one of the very few hotels out of dozens that have this silly little fee on the website I booked through. Just update your nightly rate instead of scamming your customers, actually ridiculous! There were so many cheaper options I would’ve went with had these fees been more obvious to customers booking. On the surface, it looks like you get what you pay for, a small room for $100 in a big city, but these additional fees make Yotel so unworthy at this price point. Now you pay $150/night for a small room, no amenities, and an extra cost you didn’t budget for or expect! There are roomier chains in the area that are closer to $100 and won’t scam you.
