I stayed one night in mid-January 2026. When booking, you can reserve your desired private bath time via email. The front desk will confirm your private bath time and breakfast time upon check-in. You need to change into indoor slippers upon entering the hotel. The environment is very clean, and the interior is spacious and comfortable. The public bath is a bit small, but luckily there were no other guests when I went, so there was no crowding issue. However, I highly recommend reserving a private bath, as the views are excellent in the evening or morning. I highly recommend adding dinner and breakfast to your itinerary; the food is incredibly well-prepared! Dinner, from appetizers and sashimi to the main course (sukiyaki) and dessert, was exquisite—both beautiful and delicious. I also ordered a glass of kabosu, a fruit liqueur from Oita Prefecture, which was sweet and sour and very tasty 💛 Breakfast consisted of a nine-compartment hot pot, egg rice, steamed vegetables, and a piece of grilled fish. Drinks were self-service, and the egg rice was super delicious! The side dishes were very satisfying, especially after soaking in the hot spring – it was pure bliss! 😍 These two meals were incredibly filling for a girl with a normal appetite; I even had a little leftover. I highly recommend this hot spring inn! The staff were all very friendly and spoke English perfectly. The location is also fantastic; it's a short walk to the bustling streets, so you can leave your luggage at the inn before going out to explore, and then return in the evening to enjoy the inn. 😎
