Considering the location, it's a very affordable place to stay and I highly recommend it. The people at the front desk were very nice. The bathroom isn't very large, but it's comfortable. The elevator was broken, so it was difficult to go up and down to the fourth floor, and the TV had stripes, so I had to give it a minus, but overall I think it was a good value. The view from the rooms wasn't bad either.

It's cheap, but the room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear your neighbors a little. The TV is very small. The bath is a small indoor bath with a sodium chloride spring (pH 7.3) that warms you up nicely and lightly. It does have a bit of a chlorine smell, which is a bit disappointing, but the water is good. It's not bad for a cheap way to enjoy Hakone Onsen alone.
