My experience after staying 6 nights at this hotel Before getting into the many issues I had, I want to highlight the positive points: The good: • The location is truly excellent : 1 minute from the metro, right in the center, surrounded by cafés, supermarkets, and restaurants. Honestly, perfect. • The staff, maintenance team, and overall crew are absolutely lovely. They listened to every single request, tried to find solutions, and are in no way responsible for the hotel’s questionable policies. I genuinely felt heard and understood. • Everything is very clean when you get into your room at first. And even though housekeeping is only done after the 4th night (a shame considering the price! but they’ll say it is to maintain a quiet atmosphere LOL), my windowless room never smelled damp or stale. • The wifi works perfectly, and with a £10 adapter from a shop next door, I was able to use my hairdryer, straightener, and my own kettle without any issue. Now, the problematic part, and it’s long… The hotel’s policies are really disappointing for the price: • The rooms are minimalist “by design,” windowless “by design,” and extremely dim “by design.” Everything is justified with “it’s for your wellness,” but I’d love to know who actually feels well in a room so empty in term of amenities that all your belongings end up on the floor!!!! • There isn’t even a glass in the bathroom for your toothbrush, no hairdryer, no wardrobe, no kettle, no drawers, nothing. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s madness. • The sink is tiny, water splashes everywhere, and there’s no handheld shower head, just one fixed above you, making it almost impossible to keep your hair dry (especially for girls when you just did your blowout!!!) and the water is lukewarm, not very hot. • Not even a bottle of water in the room. I guess that’s also “for my wellness”? Encouraging hydration fasting, maybe? What a joke. • It’s SO DIM you can’t even do your makeup. This room was definitely not designed by a woman. Windowless rooms are a choice, but then at least make the lighting bright enough? I literally got eye strain the first day. • If you need anything, you have to physically go to reception. Their phone doesn’t work (and there’s no mobile signal anyway, you’re in the basement at level -5). Messaging them also takes time, which is annoying. They have an explanation for everything, but none of it makes sense : it’s pretty clear the real reason is cost-cutting wherever possible. Just to be clear: The rooms don’t have windows because they’re in a basement, and they don’t have furniture or amenities because it’s cheaper. End of story. I genuinely thought something was wrong with my room because it was so dark, but no, « it’s the design, you know! For your wellness! You can adjust the lighting ». Ok but it’s sill so dim!!!, how am I supposed to be in a state of wellness when it feels like it’s 11 p.m. 24/7??? It is SO HARD to wake up in the morning. By the 4th morning I was losing my mind. There was a dripping noise in the wall from 6 to 8 a.m. I ended up at reception in tears, completely exhausted. Thankfully, the receptionist was incredibly kind and changed my room immediately, so thanks again to him for dealing with my early-morning meltdown. But seriously, there is enough here to drive anyone crazy. It should be illegal to allow anyone to book more than 2 nights. The vibe reminded me of Millie’s room in The Housemaid. So as a conclusion, if you’re staying one night and only planning to sleep in the hotel, fine : it might do the job. But if you’re staying for several days, or here for work, forget about relaxing or getting anything done. You might end up feeling like I did: overwhelmed, drained, and on the verge of losing it.

We had a great experience. It's right in the city center, so it's easy to walk there. Friendly staff. Husnain helped us out! Great hotel, definitely recommended!

Frankly one of the worst hotels i've stayed in. The reception staff could barely muster the energy to acknowledge my presence. Then were rude and patronizing when i asked where the toilets were. I've never met someone so utterly miserable, unhelpful and rude working in the hospitality sector. I wanted to use the ironing room to iron a shirt for work - there were no hangers - so was unable to do so. The room was in level 5 of the basement ('windowless by design' great marketing, terrible experience). The rooms are small, and the shower gets water everywhere and there is nowhere to put your clothes other than on the soaking wet floor. To say this is a design flaw is an understatement. Due to the rooms being below ground floor at this hotel, the toilet when flushed seems to work on some kind of vacuum sucking system which is incredibly loud. Meaning you can hear every time a neighboring room flushes the toilet. Also due to the depth of the basement, the noise from the neighbouring tube lines is very loud, and the glass partitioning was rattling in the room as the trains passed by what felt like meters from my bed. The noise issues resulted in a restless night. the room was also too warm, and i was unable to control the temperature as the thermostat didnt work. in summary, £260/night for a boiling hot, noisy, windowless hotel room with staff that clearly dont want to be there, is a complete rip off. Stay clear would be my advice.
