I would give more stars if I could. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, excellent location, delicious food (both breakfast and dinner in Echo). Special thanks to Adrian in the front desk who arranged a change of room when we realised the one we originally booked was too small; the new room was so incredibly pretty and comfortable. Dinner staff in Echo as well, they were so charismatic and made our Swiss dinner a beautiful experience (also, the price we paid for the fondue was considerably cheaper than the one we got from a luxury restaurant in Old Town). Our eternal gratitude for housekeeping too for finding and returning a valuable watch our silly teenager left behind. Overall a perfect hotel experience that lives up to the Marriot brand, thanks a lot!

I'm sharing so you can avoid this hotel. It is not what I have come to expect, neither from Marriott nor a 5 star hotel. Room was up to par, but wait time for elevators was abysmal, and had an extremely negative service experience that indicates poor management. I wish I would have picked any other hotel. I chose the Zurich Marriott because I have status, had great stays with Marriott in the part, and wanted to treat my parents and brother to a nice weekend trip. Reception gave me a 1 drink voucher and explicitly offered that it could be extended to all 4 members of our booking. Staff member at Lenox Bar refused to honor it, sent me back to reception to get a second voucher, then continued to argue with me, insisted there was no misunderstanding, finally agreed after I flat out asked him whether he could make our drinks. I have no idea where this negativity came from, and would have just paid for the drinks if I had simply been given nonconflicting guidance. My parents were mortified and initially refused any drinks because they thought we'd actually done something wrong. I escalated the experience to Guest Relations via email a few hours later, and in a wildly tone deaf series of exchanges, Lisa clarified that the voucher should have only been for 1 drink, promised to discuss internally, and offered to personally welcome us with drinks next time. No skin off their backs and completely missed the point -- the drinks were never the problem. Ultimately, I was told 10,000 Marriott points "reflects our effort to address the situation" and that I should've escalated it to management at the time of so they could address it directly (fantastic use of my last few hours of family vacation.) Extremely frustrating experience and can't believe I paid for this. In a crowded market, I feel zero need to patronize Marriott again.

We are currently visiting from Australia and have been staying at the Marriott for 5 days. Firstly I am very impressed with the location of the hotel close to the station and many bus tours. All the staff have been so kind and helpful, assisting us in booking the chocolate Lindt factory tour and other general enquires. The rooms are always spotless even my kids stating how do the staff clean them so quickly as we never saw them. The breakfast buffet was delicious and we were always greeted with smile and chat. My family really enjoyed our home away from home and highly recommend this hotel.
