What to expect
Francis Marion National Forest
On the drive to the landing you we will enter into the Francis Marion National Forest. We will turn onto a Forest Service road and travel for 3 miles. On the drive we pass through a Wildlife Management Area were organizations like the US Forest Service and SC Department of Natural Resources manage and study the land. This is a prime example of a healthy habitat for the endangered longleaf pine and Red-cockaded Woodpecker. You can also see deer, turkey, wild pig, plenty of bird and reptile species, and more.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
