We had an amazing time! The crew was really friendly, we got to learn some things about whales. Most importantly we got to see so many! We got lucky and saw an adult breach as well as a calve. It was the best time!

This was the best whale watching experience ever. Captain Brandon and first mate Maya clearly explained how to stay safe onboard so we were confident on the very fast and adventurous raft ride. They were knowledgeable and respectful about the whales, and maybe because the raft wasn't one of those big boats, the whales (a toddler, mother, and two big males) hung around circling us for quite a while. Maya airdropped us a video from her iPhone underwater. A really fun experience and a great memory. Thank you Brandon and Maya!

We ONLY whale watch with Blue Water every time we return on a yearly basis!! They never have disappointed! We love the intimate experience of a smaller boat. The captain and mate are always very very friendly and informative. we learn so much about the whales everytime!! We highly recommend going with this group!!

Did the 8 am whale watching, twice. The first time was early season, but the guide was so awesome, he went above and beyond and found some whales and dolphins. So we decided to go again, given our great first experience. We had a different guide this time, the complete opposite of the first one. Even though there were more whales in the water, we were at such far distances that we could barely see anything. I know you can’t come close, but we were so far, it would have been the same as watching from shore. We spent 50 minutes in 1 spot and only moved because I asked to move. There was no initiative at all from the guide. It felt like it was a waste of time and money. Contracted to company, since they asked for feedback, but no response. So 3 stars is the average of the 5 star first experience and a 1 star second experience.

We enjoyed an AMAZING whale watching experience with Chad and Bandy yesterday! They found several whales very quickly and maneuvered the raft for the best viewing! We were able to cover a lot of the water quicker than other boats. We learned so much about the humpback whale and how the males compete for the female...even had the luck of watching a huge male charge at a group of whales at an amazing speed! This whale watching experience was the highlight of our Maui vacation! We will definitely go again when we return to the island! Mahalo!

We booked the 1.5hr guaranteed whale watch. It was the last day they could "guarantee" sightings. We were NOT disappointed!! We saw so many whales...babies and moms closer than I could have imagined. We recommended the trip to many visitors we met during our stay:)

Once again Blue Water Rafting exceeded our expectation. Captain and crew were excellent and the sights and scenery was awsome. Lots of breeching and tail slaps to be seen. This is our 4 th or 5 time out with these guys and i will continue to book when in maui. Mahalo

When we got to the island everyone told us to go to Lahaina if we wanted to go Whale Watching. I am so glad that we did NOT listen to their advice and instead booked our tour through Blue Water Rafting. Brian and Rich were incredible captains and made this experience even better than I could have imagined. We saw soooo many whales and even had a couple breach right next to the boat. They seemed to have the inside scoop on where to be for the action. Also being on a smaller boat allowed us to get to place much quicker than then large catamarans that we kept seeing. Certainly would recommend this tour over any other option in Maui.

I highly recommend Blue Water Raft whale watch . I'm 71, my husband 72 and we've probably been on 20 whale watches off Maui but this one was the best . The crew was great, the ride it self was a lot of fun . But, oh the whales . One actually swam under the boat . We actually did 2 watches in 4 days , that's how great it was.
