    We had an amazing time! The crew was really friendly, we got to learn some things about whales. Most importantly we got to see so many! We got lucky and saw an adult breach as well as a calve. It was the best time!

    This was the best whale watching experience ever. Captain Brandon and first mate Maya clearly explained how to stay safe onboard so we were confident on the very fast and adventurous raft ride. They were knowledgeable and respectful about the whales, and maybe because the raft wasn't one of those big boats, the whales (a toddler, mother, and two big males) hung around circling us for quite a while. Maya airdropped us a video from her iPhone underwater. A really fun experience and a great memory. Thank you Brandon and Maya!

    Oh. My. Goodness!!! We got up and it was rainy and stormy. Didn’t matter!!! We had a BLAST! Lots of whales!!

    We ONLY whale watch with Blue Water every time we return on a yearly basis!! They never have disappointed! We love the intimate experience of a smaller boat. The captain and mate are always very very friendly and informative. we learn so much about the whales everytime!! We highly recommend going with this group!!

    Did the 8 am whale watching, twice. The first time was early season, but the guide was so awesome, he went above and beyond and found some whales and dolphins. So we decided to go again, given our great first experience. We had a different guide this time, the complete opposite of the first one. Even though there were more whales in the water, we were at such far distances that we could barely see anything. I know you can’t come close, but we were so far, it would have been the same as watching from shore. We spent 50 minutes in 1 spot and only moved because I asked to move. There was no initiative at all from the guide. It felt like it was a waste of time and money. Contracted to company, since they asked for feedback, but no response. So 3 stars is the average of the 5 star first experience and a 1 star second experience.

    Our guaranteed whale watch is 1 1/2 hours and a great way to see the whales on Maui from a fast and convenient Kihei departure. Ample free parking is available at the Kihei Boat Ramp less than ten minutes from all Kihei and Wailea Resorts. Morning departures offer calm conditions on Maui’s south shore where visiting Humpback whales are prevalent and often seen nursing their young during these times. Pods are spotted quickly allowing ample time for viewing and listening through a sophisticated hydrophone sound system. Close encounters of 100 yards or less sometimes require that we “stretch” a tour slightly to ensure the safety of the humpback whales and to operate within federal regulations, therefore a little extra time has been allowed between tour departures. Most customers enjoy the hydrophone we put into the water to hear the whales sing the most. We answer any whale questions and will be providing facts throughout the tour. We welcome you to make a memorable experience with us. We have been doing this since 1985.
