Begin your tour near the base of the Eiffel Tower, where your expert guide will give you an introduction to the structure. From here, walk with your guide to the ticket entrance of the Eiffel Tower where you’ll have your first opportunity for a close-up look at the monument while we arrange your tickets. Please note that during busy periods, there may be a wait to clear the line for the stairs and security. This comprehensive tour is typically scheduled to last for 2,5 hours, though wait times at security checks can sometimes increase the tour duration. Rest assured that these lines will move much quicker than the line for the elevator! If there is a wait, your guide will use this time to explain the fascinating history of the Tower’s creation.

Our guide Ana was absolutely brilliant, never felt rushed and waited for people to catch up on the climb, her knowledge of the Eiffel Tower and Paris in general was fantastic, explaining the history of the Tower, the views and what we were looking at, was happy to take photos and was able to answer any questions that were asked.

Our tour to the Eiffel Tower was amazing! Ami our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and funny! We still had to go on line but it didn’t take too long. We went at 915am. Be on time!! Unfortunately due to strong winds we did not get to climb to the third floor. We did climb the stairs up to the second floor, great experience! Such incredible views of the Paris! Then you have as much time as you need to explore on your own. Definitely recommend this at least once on your visit to Paris!

The CA$275.00 paid to Viator was a complete waste of money. We arrived , on time, at what we thought was the designated meeting point where we met up with a tour group gathering to tour the Eiffel Tower. We asked if this was a 'Viator' group and were told yes. The tour group representative reviewed our email and Viator ticket information. They took a cellphone photo of the information displayed and directed us to join up with a group being guided by a fellow named Charles, who would be escorting the group to the tower. We walked with group to the tower site and through the security check / main gate and on to the line for tickets to access the tower. While standing in this line waiting for tickets we were approached by a third representative (Edmund?) who asked to see our reservation email (as received from Viator) again, at which time he advised us we were with the wrong tour group. Our reservation was with "City Wonders", and his company was "Discover...something or other". Although they were also a 'Viator' tour operator, they were not the operator our tickets were arranged though and therefore we could not access the tower with his group. He could not explain why he or either of his colleagues could not have advised us that there was an error, 1.1/2 ~ 2 hrs previously, which would have allowed us an opportunity to find the correct tour operator. He offered no option, no alternate contact...nothing. We reached out to 'City Wonders' and their representative could not offer any assistance or options. So - the only option available to us we to purchase our own tickets and proceed to explore the Eiffel Tower on our own. Perhaps Viator could present the meeting and coordination instructions in more clear, concise manner, and with operators who are better organized and have a greater focus on customer service? Perhaps the operators could better identify themselves, wearing matching hats, shirts, vests...anything that would make it obvious which operator was which? I'd love to expand on explaining our experience and clarifying all that transpired by I was not able to connect with anyone a Viator. I would highly discourage anyone considering booking a tour through the Viator system to look elsewhere.

Meet up spot was easy - look for the big red MEETING POINT sign. Hendricks was awesome!! He did great and gave us plenty of info! He was fun. Got us thru the lines quickly. Would highly recommend.

First of all: punctual. The team were there to meet us at bang on half an hour before the tour began. Second, the ques were awful but Joanna T our guide was amazing. She engaged with all of the children on the tour, not just mine. She was so easy to talk to and ask questions to. Joanna was an experienced guide, you could tell by how easy she made it seem. As someone who has to lead groups, making it look easy only comes from experience and passion about what it is your are trying to show. Joanna had and did both. We really enjoyed our Eiffel Tower tour thanks to Joanna our guide. Worth the money. It made Paris and the Tower much more interesting. Wish we had done it on day 1 not at the end of our visit. Oh well.
