Battle Point Park

As we walk in the entrance to the Founders Courts the timeline of pickleball is laid for us to soak in as we approach these special courts dedicated to the birthplace of pickleball. Time and weather permitting, we will play pickleball with the locals. After the play, we will enjoy a gourmet boxed lunch set up on a beautiful table with prime viewing of the courts.

Bay Hay and Feed

We set you loose to soak in this gem! Whether you are an animal lover, gardener, coffee lover, baker or all of the above this iconic store has something for you. This island farm and garden store is special and portrays perfectly the special uniqueness of the island.

Island Life Artisan Gifts

The trip to the birthplace of pickleball would not be complete without the opportunity to get some pickleball swag. At this locally owned store, shop amazing, one-of-a-kind pickleball merchandise created by the artist and owner, Alex Sanso. If the timing is right we might even get a chance to buy from the artist herself!

Bainbridge Island Historical Museum

We will visit this beautifully curated museum, located in the original schoolhouse. There is a pickleball installation as well as one on maritime transportation, Japanese Americans and forestry, and more. It is a great way to celebrate Bainbridge Island's history and learn about its connections to the world.

Ferry Terminal

Our trip concludes with our guides getting you to the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal and onto the 2:05 (or similar, depending on the day) ferry. The relaxing 35-minute ride back to Seattle features (weather permitting) views of Mt. Rainier, the Port of Seattle, and downtown.

Such a great experience! My wife and I are fairly recent pickleball enthusiasts, and live in the Seattle area. We took my father who has been playing for over 10 years as a birthday gift. Its a great way to learn the origins & history of the sport. Its also just a beautiful area. You get a glimpse of the homes where the sport was born (its amazing to see how many folks have private courts in that area!). Playing at the Founders court was a real highlight! Madeline and Jen are knowledgable - plugged into the sport and the region, and fun! Also - Great lunch provided!

I so enjoyed this special pickleball field trip! Our guides thought of everything that made the trip go smoothly. From our seamless pick-up to the perfect timing of fun stops we made. The day was magical as we ferried across the water and saw the beautiful mountains and Seattle skyline. We played pickleball trivia which was a great way to provide more pickleball history. The Founder's local pickleball courts were so nice to play on and I loved the ambiance of all of the people there to play and enjoy each other's company. It was just the right amount of time, at each stop, to fit everything in. The yummy lunch stop was awesome as was time to browse through the local farm and garden store, which was much more, with all kinds of fun items to peruse. The island museum and pickleball gift shop all added to this amazing experience. I would define the day as FUN, SUSPENSFUL AND EXCITING! There was not a moment of time I wasn't enjoying this field trip! Thank you for this over the top pickleball experience!

The PPA Tour had so much fun during this tour, the pros that went cannot stop talking about it to this day! We are so thankful for both Jen and Madeleine for taking us on the tour! If you're a pickleball fanatic you NEED to go on this tour and see where our favorite sport originated!

Best day ever for PB enthusiast! Jen and Madeline are so knowledgeable and gave a great informative, entertaining and fun tour. We visited and learned the origins of PB, went to great local food/shopping, and we played PB at the most beautiful courts ever! I would highly recommend especially if you are visiting Seattle. Beautiful island and ferry ride.
