Your Itinerary

Casa Vicens Gaudi

The tour starts in front of Casa Vicens. This was the first project of Gaudí, when he was a young graduate! For the first time, he was able to use all his creativity to deliver a unique place inspired by Oriental motives. You will access Casa Vicens and hear a live introduction from your guide. Then you'll have some time to explore the house at your own pace

Admission Included

Barri de Gracia

The area surrounding Casa Vicens is the neighborhood of Gràcia, a small town that used to be in the banlieue of Barcelona until the city expanded at the end of the 19th century. While you walk down its narrow streets, you will appreciate how it has kept a genuine air that makes it one of the most attractive areas in town for locals.

Passeig de Gracia

You will then arrive at Passeig de Gràcia, the most exclusive boulevard in the city. We could call this street Barcelona’s 5th Avenue. In the past, rich families started a competition in the area to have the most eccentric facades: that’s why we found such a rich heritage. Listen to some local anecdotes while you stroll towards the next Gaudi stop.

Casa Batllo

(Pass by)

The guide will explain the facade, and you'll hear anecdotes, meanings and symbolism behind every detail of it

Casa Mila - La Pedrera

Casa Milà is the last work that Gaudí completed in his life. Looking up at this building, you'll learn some anecdotes - it is now one of the most renowned buildings in Spain, but at first everybody hated it! But now, La Pedrera (the quarry), as locals call it, is one of Barcelona's must-sees. You will get a skip-the-line ticket and an audioguide in your selected language to explore the full building at your own pace. After Casa Milà, you will have a 2-hour break for lunch. Our guide will provide some local recommendations and indications for you to find the afternoon meeting point.

Admission Included

Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau

The afternoon starts in front of one of Barcelona's hidden gems: Sant Pau Hospital. Not long ago, until 2005, this was a full functioning public hospital where Barcelonans could go whenever they were sick: what a nice place to recover! The Sant Pau Hospital has more than 20 modernist pavilions surrounded by gardens. Here the patients found fresh air and sunlight to overcome their diseases. Since 2015, Sant Pau doesn't have any sanitary activity and now it's a museum to appreciate the history and the architecture of this building. The guide will explain the history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site building, one of Barcelona's hidden gems

Basilica de la Sagrada Familia

It's time to go inside Gaudí's unfinished dream! Get ready to skip the long lines with our fast track ticket. The Sagrada Família is absolutely amazing from outside, but when you get in, your heartbeat will stop for a second. Marvel at the gentle lights that filter through the stained glass and admire the magic colors they create. Look up and see the tree-like columns that only a genius mind could have imagined. Take in every minute of your experience here: the Sagrada Família is like nothing you've ever seen before. With this guaranteed admission, you make sure you don't lose your spot to get into Spain's most visited attraction. You'll get an audioguide in your language to explore it at your own pace, with also access to the museum underneath the temple.

Andri and Raul were very good and knowledgeable of site visited. We enjoyed our tour experience and interaction with other guests!

Great overall except wish for option to add transport or transfer after or before lunch. Time change for afternoon should have been communicated by message and NOT only email. No one answered the phone when I tried reaching them multiple times during day. But guides were great at all times.

Well worth the experience. It helps to have someone give the background regarding Gaudi and his architectural vision

Finding Viator contact information has not been easy and we are addressing this email to what we found on the internet. We found the service we received from your company to be appalling and incompetent along with the dishonesty in your communications with us ("we did everything right"). This resulted in a great deal of stress and frustration for us both as well as meant that we did not get the entire 2nd half of our tour. The original reservation said that the tour was 4 to six hours long, there was no mention of a 3 hour break in between the morning and afternoon, and no mention of how late the tour was supposed to last. Our confirmation email for the reservation did not mention the guide's name, and we arrived at the meeting place 1/2 hour early. When Bomin arrived we asked if she was our guide, she said no, she had 2 other clients, she then looked us up and told us that our guide was Chessie - at approximately 10:15 Bomin received a call and told us that Chessie could not make it and that her clients were no-shows and so she would conduct our tour - it is important to note that she had no preceding knowledge that she would be our guide and so your statement that we had an email stating she would be our guide is clearly fraudulent. She told us that we would meet Chessie at 3, we told her that we had to be back on our cruise ship by 5 as it was sailing. She said that she would let "management" know (clearly a misnomer as it seems NOTHING is managed by your company) and we could make the tour shorter. The text from Chessie stating that we were going to start later was sent at 12:50 p.m. - 2 hours and 50 minutes after our "tour" had started. For us, Internet on the ship and in a foreign country is sketchy - I did not get the text until we returned, and even if I had gotten it we would have been unable to change the reservation due to our ship's sailing schedule. We had tried to cancel it approximately 17 hours before the tour and were told that there was a 100% cancellation fee - I think that in all fairness you should pay the same. We were unable to get into the one place we really wanted to see - la Sagrada Familia. The tickets were for 5:30 pm and when we approached the ticket office we were told the earliest we could enter would be 5:00, We never saw Chessie. When we called the number for the Panda Tours, we were treated disrespectfully and there was no attempt to solve the problem. I want to say that Bomin was extremely competent, courteous and really stepped up to the plate - in short, she was a delight and clearly over-qualified for an organization with so little respect for their commitments and for other people's time. I expect a full refund - your performance was not only inadequate, it was unconscionable. Patricia A Prickett

Incredible experience in this gem that I found by chance and luck when looking for a Korean language tour for family members. With a smaller group that Touring Panda ensures, it was a very personal experience with a ton of detail, fun stories, and a very friendly feeling from a engaging and kind guide (Hwa-Jin). We were only in Barcelona for a very short amount of time, so every hour counted. This tour was exactly what we needed. It hit all the main spots and then some, and by the end of the tour, we surprisingly felt fully fulfilled, feeling that we had “done” Barcelona properly despite the quick trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an easy way to experience Barcelona in a short amount of time or if you want a great starting point for a longer trip to help you figure out what areas and parts you want to dive deeper into. 5 stars!
