Dovetail Brewery

The first stop on our tour, Dovetail serves up excellent Kolsh, Lagers, and my personal favorite their Hefeweizen. Dovetail is dedicated to Continental European styles and also has a vast amount of wild fermentation ales as well. On Saturdays, we will embark on a private tour of the brewery which will include a sample. On Fridays and Sundays, free samples will be provided.

Admission Included

Hop Butcher For The World

Known for their hop heavy approach, if you are a fan of IPAs this is your stop. Named after the iconic Carl Sandburg poem "Chicago", the brewery also has some lightly hopped and even seltzer options for those who do not like hoppy beers.

Begyle Brewing

Known for their Community Supported Brewery model, Begyle has been serving up a wide range of styles that will fit anyone's palate. Free samples will be included with the tour.

Had a great time on our brewery walking tour. We drank some fantastic beer at three breweries and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of beer in Chicago. It was a great way to see some really cool neighborhoods of Chicago.

We had a great time, Adam was a very knowledgable tour guide. He knew all of the ins and outs of our stops and had a lot of fun facts. We were able to try a wide variety of beer, which I love, and he provided some tasty recommendations. 10/10 would do again!

Adam is such a knowledgeable and charismatic tour guide! Not only did he provide great information and context about the breweries and the city of Chicago, but he also tailored certain aspects around our group’s flavor palettes. The tour was very accessible and gave a great preview of the brew scene in the city!
