A nice tour of some locations of the last eruption. Don't expect much though, the pictures are misleading, and if you have your own rental car you're better of exploring yourself. We don't regret going though.

Ist was really interesting to see so near the lava , the volcano and the consequences of eruption. Susi could give us a lot of information about the history of the island, the volcano. At the end we had a nice lunch.

The tour was great, Rosie (tour operator), did a great job on managing the languages and making sure everyone was involved. The views of the island are well worth seeing

Beautiful island. Very mountainous. You need a car. Forget the beaches. Towns and villages lovely. Prices much cheaper than UK. People lovely, considerate, fair and generous. Other drivers considerate, roads very good. Hire cars quite inexpensive. Mountains(volcanos) spectacular. New interpretation centres wonderful with lovely staff. Restaurants good and inexpensive (try Cinnamon and Chippi Chippi, in spite of the name). Altogether a wonderful place to go for people with a brain. (Not for the lager swilling beach addicts). Recommend it thoroughly to curious, intelligent, adventurous, considerate people. Weā€™ll definitely go back. I wonā€™t tell you the name of our lovely hotel (very small, town centre), because itā€™ll book up then we might not get in again. Overall 9 and a half out of 10 (nothingā€™s perfect). Peter Hill.

It was amazing to se what the volcano did to the island. We drove thru the lava on a temporary road, with all the destroyed houses.

It didn't happen and I'm waiting for a refund. They called me 24 hours before to reschedule, but it was not possible due to my flights.
