Peso Da Regua

Peso da Régua is a well-known, emblematic city of the region. With a history dating back to the Roman invasions, the city has become modernized and the centre of the Douro railway between Porto and Pocinho. We start our journey to the wine passing in this emblematic city not only for you can have a 360º view`s from this region, but also because you will do a short pass through the famous road 222 (EN222), that is considered the most beautifull to its full extent.

Q.ta de São Luís

Quinta de S. Luiz is located on the left bank of the Douro river, between the city of Régua and Pinhão, in the small village of Tabuaço, being considered one of the most emblematic of the region. Quinta de S. Luiz detains the very soul of the Douro, representing the best that the Douro has to offer, with an unique charm. The visit starts in our Winery, where you could get to know the proper oenological practices of the Douro and the location where our table wines rest. Following to visit the Vineyard, considered one of our Quinta's treasures, whose Vineyards and grape varieties are the most gleaming jewels.

Pinhao

The village of Pinhão, located in an area classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, lies in the heart of the Alto Douro and was one of the most emblematic trading posts for transporting Port wine to Gaia on the Rabelo boats, which you will have the opportunity to come aboard and enjoy the best views over the river.

Sabrosa

From the year of 1735 and having been restored at XX Century but keeping all his patrimony including the original furniture, we will take you to the one of the most important house`s from Douro Valley, where you will have an harmonized lunch paring with the wines from the vineyards of this unique and fabolous house.

Nuno was super helpful in getting my family and me all set up for a day of wine tastings and a boat ride. Jorge picked us up bright and early and was so knowledgeable about wine and the region. He taught us so much about the wine regions from Porto to Douro Valley, and we got to chat with him about his wine studies. We had a wonderful private boat tour from Pinhão, and got to sip on some tasty Porto tonics while taking in the amazing views. Then we got to try some delicious wines (still and port) at the following two estates, with a wonderful lunch to pair at the second. I would recommend this tour to any friend or anyone visiting the Porto region!

We had the best day and this tour is a highlight of our stay in Porto. Jorges is a delightful, personable and very knowledgeable guide and host. He is passionate about wine and the Douro Valley, with lots of interesting information, background and history about this special region. The tour dedicates itself to smaller, more intimate groups where you get a very personal experience along with first class service and attention. The two wineries we visited were not the big commercial operations and we had a chance to talk with the actual producers. We tried a variety of wines and Port and learnt much about the harvest to bottle process. Attention to detail was excellent, we had a wonderful lunch outside in a tree covered courtyard looking out over the vines and we would recommend this tour in a heartbeat to anyone wanting to spend a quality day in the Douro Valley.

Words cannot describe the wonderful experience we had today on the trip! Even though we were the only customers our guide made a memorable trip, took his time to answer a number of questions regarding Port wine, Douro Valley, Portugal during our drive to the wineries. His knowledge of wine making is huge, he really contributed greatly to us understanding the process. Boat trip was very nice, both wineries splendid, the lunch simply fabulous! We went as a group of 6 people. Our driver Nuno was on time and very friendly. He kept us informed throughout the trip taking is to three wineries. The boat trip was stunning. The lunch was really good and the Douro river valley is beautiful. All in all a great trip.

Nous avons passés 3 jours exceptionnels à Porto et dans le douro accompagnés par des personnes exceptionnelles. Les personnes de cet agence ont été très professionnelle et très à l’écoute de nos besoins envies avec un programme bien établi mais qui a été ensuite adapté à nos envies du moment avec des visites de caves, domaines viticoles, restaurants, etc. Chaque visite, chaque restaurant a été vraiment parfaitement sélectionné ! On peut même dire que tout de suite ils sont devenus des amis et nous nous sommes sentis comme de la famille à chaque instant ! Un grand merci à Jorge et sa femme Sonia ainsi qu’à toute l’équipe !
