Los Patios de San Basilio

Undoubtedly, the patios are one of the emblems of the city. World Heritage from 2012, this tradition comes from the Romans and the Muslims. Therefore, we took these influences to create our beautiful courtyards, filling the houses with nature. The locals will open us their own houses to discover six magnificent patios of the neighborhood of San Basilio. Some of them were rewarded during the renowned Festival de los Patios celebrated in May. What’s more, we’ll admire monuments like the Belén Tower and the Sculpture of the Patios.

Our guide, Lydia, was just wonderful and full of so much history and explanation about the patios and what makes each one special. There are rules for qualifying to participate in the Patios Festival and Lydia knew them all. She clearly has a good repoire with the patio owners. The tour was very enjoyable.

Nos ha encantado la visita guiada y se nos ha hecho muy amena. Todo lo que hemos visto es precioso y hemos podido conocer la historia de cada rincón de Córdoba gracias a nuestro guía Rafa, que nos lo ha explicado todo muy bien y con mucha fascinación (se nota cuando alguien siente pasión por la historia que cuenta). ¡¡100% recomendable!!

Un desastre Estuvimos esperando en el punto de encuentro indicado en la reserva, calle Saavedra n.5, y las 5 personas que estábamos allí nos tuvimos que trasladar al Alcázar perdiendo 30 minutos del tour. La guía Irene hizo todo lo que pudo. Ella se portó genial, la verdad.

Rafa, un excelente guia, nos explico de forma muy amena y detallada la historia y cultura de los Patios, incluyendo notas simpáticas que hacen la tarde muy agradable. Pese a ser el primer fin de semana del Festival de Patios, pudimos ver incluso alguno más de los 6 que estaban previstos. Muy recomendable.

visita realizada a 5 patios de San Basilio, que aunque no estan en su esplendor merece la pena visitar sobre todo por la compañia (lydia), sus explicaciones y trato fabuloso. las personas propietarias encantadoras sobre todo uno (Rafael) se detecta el trabajo continuado durante el año de estas personas con gasto de mantenimiento y dedicacion altos y su predisposicion para admitir visitas sin aportaciones fijas. Pienso que no estan atendidas por los principales beneficiarios del turismo como son la junta,ayuntamiento y comercios.

Estuvimos este fin de semana pasado en Córdoba, inicialmente teníamos reservada la visita a los patios el sábado a las 5 de la tarde, con Córdoba a Pie, pero como estaba lloviendo llamamos para cancelarla. No nos pusieron ningún problema y nos dieron la posibilidad de realizar la visita el domingo a las 11 de la mañana, así que por la mañanita nos fuimos a ver los patios! Nuestro guía fue Rafa, una persona atenta, súper simpático, que aparte de enseñarnos los patios nos contó también, de manera muy amena, muchas cositas curiosas de la historia de Córdoba. Los patios me parecieron preciosos, decorados con multitud de flores, fuentes y detallitos que los hacen diferentes unos de otros y únicos. Pero lo que más me gustó de la visita fue la historia que envuelve a los patios, el como un elemento común de las casas,un punto de encuentro de los vecinos, un lugar de convivencia, se engalana y abre sus puertas para mostrar un estilo de vida que va más allá de las flores. Las flores son las protagonistas en la decoración pero los verdaderos protagonistas son las gentes que allí habitan. Y realmente es por ello por lo que la Unesco los declaró como Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad Me pareció una visita preciosa, recomendable 100% y que cuando vuelva a Córdoba volveré a repetir sin dudarlo! Agradecer a Rafa el tiempo que estuvo con nosotros, su simpatía, su buenhacer, y sobre todo el gran interés que mostró en acercarnos este pedacito de tradición y cultura cordobesa.
