    We did not have good experience with the tour guide . The headphone was very bad quality and was unclear . We felt that we were being rushed from one destination ti the next . Tour guide does not have any patience and rushed to finish his 3 hours tour job . Thee we driver drove so fast on the way to Seville . We had to remind the drive to go slowly in our way back to the ship in Cadiz .

    Knowledgeable tour guides. Accommodated us even though our cruise ship was late getting into port. They were able to change our tickets for a later time.

    I made tour plans with Mark several months in advance for our port call in Cadiz. Mark was helpful with many suggestions for this private full day tour out to Jerez to see the Andalusian Horse show and a walking tour of Cadiz. Our guide was very informative and accommodating. It was a great day for the 4 of us.

    If you're looking for a customizable tour I would highly recommend VIP Malaga. Mark set up everything for us, just the way we wanted it. We even did a second tour with the company to Jerez to taste sherry and see the Andalusian horses. Mark was easy to reach whenever we had questions or needed assistance. I can say the same for Carlos, our driver. He was polite, kind, a great English speaker, and a pleasure to travel with. Our guide Marta in Sevilla taught us so many things, and I was impressed with how much we got to see in just one day there. They always checked in with us to make sure we were well taken care of, and everything went perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful introduction to Andalucia!

However, the Muslim invaders had the most lasting effect on Seville. Their Dynasty lasted almost 800 years in Andalusia from 711 until 1492 when finally, the Catholic monarchs defeated the Muslim kingdom of Granada. Most of the Seville´s most impressive buildings are the legacy to this period. Following the fall of the kingdom of Granada, Spain entered a period of prosperity and expansion. The discovery of the New World made Seville one of the most affluent cities anywhere in Europe. Up to 18th century, Spain had now fallen into economic disarray.
