If a woman who is mainly into galleries and wines (not sports) can do it, you can do it too! I promise you'll absolutely love it! So don't panic! Just book it now! Honestly, I was kinda scared about booking this experience when I was in Lanzarote, but it was totally worth it! If I could do it all again, I'd do it on my first day, not the last one. Niccolo is an amazing coach and a really easy-going person with whom I had a great time chatting! Just don't say you like pizzas with pineapples :) Thanks for making me feel safe in the ocean, for trusting in me more than I do in myself, and for showing that it's the waves (not me) that are always the reasons for failing :) Cheers to my ever first and best longboard surfing teacher!

I found out about Niccolo's courses from a friend and signed up for his group course for two days. I arrived with low expectations as I hadn't had such a good experience at another surf school on the island, but what can I say: the lessons were simply perfect. Niccolo manages to pass on so much knowledge in a very short time that you feel confident and, above all, make rapid progress! The big priority here (after safety) is definitely fun. He teaches in small groups and always has an eye for every student and gives tips in no time. I immediately decided to book another day and had so much fun. I can recommend everyone to take the course. I would do it again at any time and hope to be there again next year!

3.) fun and practical approach to technical, social, legal and yes even philosophical aspects of the sport.

What to expect
If you want to get to know the world of longboard surfing come and join our surf school. Participants will start with easy exercises on the beach and then practice in the white water, so you will gain confidence. In the beginning we will use soft boards and then progress to hardboard; lesson schedule is: warming-up and streching exercise specifically for longboard surfing, fundamental safety rules with a longboard in the beach and in the ocean; How to lay on a longboard correctly; paddle technique, stance on a longboard and how to stand up; timing of the take off and how to turn your longboard. Our group are small (maximum 4 people) same surfing level and we never mix adults with kids. Everyone is different and learn differently that’s why we offer a very personalised tailor made teaching method. The longer and wider boards will allow you to catch more waves, from smaller to bigger waves. Longboarding is a class act and the classic essence of surfing lifestyle.
