    Food was delicious! The mushroom dish complex, dark, savory with multiple varieties in a delicious sauce. The zucchini carpaccio was fresh, lightly seasoned topped with toasted pine nuts. My caviar bilini were perfect! Paired wines did not show Pocas to its full advantage. The white and the red were their most basic, least expensive, offerings. Having had tremendous offerings in other restaurants, I expected better at this tasting. The port, while good, did not show the house at its best.

    Very interesting tour with a knowledgable guide. The wine served was great quality and the food was great! Highly recommended!

    The tour was very interesting and the wine was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions. They even sent an additional staff member for a more detailed discussion of the fermentation process. HIGHLY recommend!

    Perfect tour with Jorge! really good explanation about al the different port wines. We where the only one’s there in cellars.

    An excellent wine cellar, great wine, Dona Maria do Céu is an impeccable person. I highly recommend getting to know Casa Poças wines.

    Pocas Vinhos

    This experience includes a guided visit throughout our cellar with a tasting at the end of the tour. This tasting will include a selection of some golden years that we had in the Douro Valley. The intention is to show the transformation that the Port Wine has during the aging. We will have in the line up the Vintage 1999 and 2015 and the Colheita 2007 and 1997. We have also available different harmonizations that you can select to make the perfect pairing with your wine.
