This was a fantastic walk into the New Forest with Marcus and Emily-Louise. We saw some wonderful wildlife and the scenery was amazing. The hosts have such a breadth and depth of knowledge that we learned lots. We heard birdsong, found a dung beetle and navigated some amazing terrain. Fully recommended for any family.

We went on a full day guided wildlife watching tour with Marcus and Emily and it was such a wonderful experience. The New Forest is actually not far from us but we had never been there before and we wanted to enjoy this National Park with someone who knew the landscape and the wildlife intimately. Marcus has encyclopaedic knowledge about the history and nature of the New Forest and Emily helped us see fantastic Lichens and mushrooms that we would have easily overlooked otherwise. Without their knowledge and guidance we would have never seen or heard several of the fast moving and hard to find woodland birds. Our highlight in the morning was a rare but awesome sighting of the Lesser Spotted woodpecker! We walked around different habitats in the New Forest and also visited the coast to see some very special Spoonbills, Avocets, Spotted Redhshanks and many other wading birds. All in all a highly enjoyable day and highly recommended!

An excellent walk around Wilverley from local expert Marcus. He gave us a great tour including the history, flora and fauna of the New Forest that was insightful and well delivered. He even showed us some plants that are unique to the forest, a real treat! Completely recommend the tour for the modest price asked, and will suggest to friends and family.

Am impromptu bespoke fungi and forest tour! We were, by chance, the only couple that signed up for the walk. So Marcus and Emily asked us if we had any particular interests. I’m a new fungi enthusiast so they said to get back in the car and drove we met them in the new forest. A wonderful two hours, not much walking but plenty of fungi spotting! Marcus’ encyclopaedic knowledge of the forest was amazing. And Emily’s ability to spot the tiniest fungi was brilliant.

We learnt so much from Marcus, about the flora and fauna, and also the history of the Forest. And 2 hours excellent walk on a beautiful sunny November day.

As always, the fungi explorer walk to learn about the various species and ID features, led by Marcus and Emily was excellent value for money and very, very enjoyable. I've done a few now and each one is different, learning something new every time. Highly recommended.

The Wildlife Wander walk by Marcus in the New Forest was excellent. He and Emily explained so much about the forest, its wildlife, plants, birds and other interesting background knowledge about the ponies and commoners. Marcus and Emily were both extremely friendly and helpful. The walk was very well paced and leisurely, with lots of opportunity to stop and talk about what we were seeing and hearing. Plenty of time to take photos and just admire the wildlife. Their knowledge is first class and they were so keen and passionate about the New Forest and their walks - ensuring that everyone enjoyed it. We would highly recommend their walks. We also went on the Boat Trip from Bucklers Hard down the Beaulieu River and the evening walk around Keyhaven, which Marcus and Emily run.

Within 3 minutes we knew we were going to enjoy the tree identification walk. Marcus had picked a beautiful part of the forest to discover with both ancient and plantation trees. We covered so much information I was wondering if we would remember much but a few days on it still all makes sense. As if we have a few more jigsaw pieces in place . We would definitely recommend the walk.

A wonderful gentle walk exploring the beautiful diverse habitats in the Forest. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He explained the history and customers of the ‘Commoners’ who have had the right to graze their ponies and cows in the New Forest nature reserve for centuries. It was a happy and memorable walk. One I would highly recommend for all those with a love of the countryside who want to learn more about its animals, flora and fauna. I will certainly return. Thank you Marcus.
